Tried meal prepping this weekend, it was fun and exhausting 😅👍. Took me 3hrs++ to cook these.
1. Ayam tumis daun jeruk (pic 2)
Dada ayam 400gr thinly sliced
Daun jeruk secukupnya
Beef tallow 1 sdm + minyak secukupnya
Cabe + bawang (merah putih bombay seger+bubuk)
Garam + stevia
Tumis sampe mateng
2. Ayam panggang rosemary (pic 3)
Dada ayam 400gr thinly sliced
Rosemary kering 1 sdm
Beef tallow 1 sdm + minyak secukupnya
Cabe + bawang (merah putih bombay seger+bubuk)
Garam + stevia
Oven 180c 25 menit
3. Daging cincang tomat cherry
Daging sapi cincang 400gr
Tomat cherry 100gr
Beef tallow 1 sdm + minyak secukupnya
Oregano 1/2 sdm + Basil 1/2 sdm (kering)
Cabe + bawang (merah putih bombay seger+bubuk)
Garam + stevia
Tumis sampe mateng
4. Jamur mix (pic 5)
King oyster, shitake, champignone, enoki
Beef tallow 1 sdm + minyak secukupnya
Cabe + bawang (merah putih bombay seger+bubuk)
Garam + stevia
Tumis sampe mateng (enoki masuk terakhir)
5. Kentang panggang
Kentang dipotong kotak2
Beef tallow 1 sdm + minyak secukupnya
Italian herbs (rosemary, oregano, thyme, basil)
Bawang (putih+bombay) bubuk kering
Garam
Oven 210c 40 menit
Sisanya cuma brokoli rebus (5 menit), tomat cherry seger, sama telor puyuh rebus (10menit)
Yang nanya kenapa ga pake gula, gw alergi sama keluarga rumput2an pocaceae

So yeah, I’m bored again this weekend and don’t have better things to do then I queued for Ayam Goreng Maklin.
I don’t know, everytime I open my instagram, tiktok, etc, this restaurants always pops up. So I went there this weekend.
Once I arrived, the parking spot is kinda hell, limited space for the car, so be prepared. They have good queueing system though and the waiter is so attentive. Too bad the waiting area is so hot, basically i’m fried under the sun. After 2 hours, they finally called me in and thank god the restaurant is equipped with good AC (shout out to global warming).
So let’s move to the food I ordered. I ordered:
- 1.5 Ayam Goreng (duh)
- Kulit goreng
- Ati
- Sayur Asem
- Cumi Ireng
- Nasi uduk
- Sop Buntut (not in the picture)
- Lemper ayam (not in the picture)
- Kangkung terasi
- Tempe and Tahu Goreng.
- Free unlimited Sambal, chopped red onion (raw), and kecap manis. They told us to mixed all of these to the rice.
So……
The chicken is good, so tender and juicy. They fried it good. Mixed with sambal and rice, you can eat the whole chicken without realizing it. However though… I have to say that’s it.
Nothing special for me, i sat there, thinking is a good chicken but yeah that’s all, i don’t really have the urge to comeback again soon, not with that kind of queue.
The mixed sambal is good though, but I’m annoyed that the sambal is not spicy (it’s sambal ffs). It didn’t tingle me and I’m easily tingled by hot spice.
Kulit ayam is crispy, not a fan though because i can feel the oil. Tahu and tempe goreng is basically tahu tempe. Kangkung tauco and lemper I dont care. Sayur asem is spicy (maybe it’s their intention), I like it, i can feel the spice and the sour in the soup, defo must order this.
The star is actually the sop buntut for me! I’m not a fan of oxtail, but the oxtail is not gamy, the meat is so tender I can use my spoon to separate the meat. The soup is also refreshing. Maybe they should change to Sop Buntut Maklin instead.
Overall verdict: good chicken but nothing special. Can go there if you have time. Sop Buntut and Sayur Asem are better though.
Damage is about 300k. 1 piece of chicken is about 25k. Actually not bad.
Paling yang poin masakannormal/mainstream tapi kasih campuran apa pun yg gk biasa ada contohnya.
Kan di rumah pernah sekali masak nasi goreng tapi pas di masak dengan nambah boncabe dong, wkwkwk
Jadi kerasa pedas emang tapi ada anehnya, wkwkwk
Kalo poin pertama yang masakan yg gak biasa paling emang unik/anti mainstream di rumah kalian.
Dari dulu aku doyan.. steak. Cuma pas di indo tuh, selalu merasa kesulitan masak steak "yang enak". Setelah merantau, I realised a good quality ingredients itu penting buat masakan2 yg simpel kaya steak. Ga perlu bumbu heboh2 yg gimana kalo memang potongan tertentu yg lebih empuk. Kalo potongan yg lebih alot, bumbuin aja, dry rubs, a bit of baking soda, then all greattttt.
Creamy pasta underneath just to attract me kids. 😂😂
i ordered the truffle burger; it's 58 K with fries and honestly, you might wanna pack urself some wet wipes bcs there's no way you could finish the meal without making a mess hahah. the truffle sauce itself isn't as thick as i thought it would be, but it complements the egg which makes the whole burger taste creamier. they also have character buns for some menus!
Aku sering nonton resep-resep di TikTok dan banyak banget yang pakai sejenis "kaldu jamur" buat bumbu penyedap. Kebanyakan pake brand Totole yg katanya "lebih sehat" tapi pas aku cek komposisi bahan terbanyaknya tetep garam & msg, sedangkan jamur ada di urutan terakhir. Lalu apa keunggulan kaldu jamur ini kok banyak banget yg pakai, mengingat harganya juga lebih mahal daripada bumbu kaldu rasa ayam & sapi?
Setelah beberapa hari hujan terus2an, akhirnya cerah lagi dan langsung bakar2an.
Kalo ga salah inget, dagingnya murni dada ayam semua dari 4 ekor ayam. Potongnya ga terlalu tipis supaya puas makannya tapi jg ga terlalu tebel. Kuncinya kasih baking soda dikit dan tambah garam dikit aja. Let it sit overnight.. or toss it in the freezer, forget about it, then take it out 1-2 days before grilling.
Makan waktu 2.5 jam tusuk2in semuanya termasuk sate kulit ayam. Hhhhhh so good yet so bad.
Bumbu kacang sempet kurang, so pardon me di foto yg sama nasi, sebenernya ada bumbu kacangnya tapi di bawah sate dan sedikit :') mengsedih. Itu aku makan pake nasi uduk sisaan, sambal matah, sate+bumbu kacang+kecap, dan taburan lengkuas parut yg disangrai. Akhirnya, esok harinya aku bikin lagi bumbu satenya. Hence the first picture. Sebenernya karena males nyuci iring kebanyakan, makanya aku ga lumurin sate pake bumbu kacang, aku biarin aja dibawah, lumurin bumbunya sembari makan aja.
Setelah bbrp kali nyoba bikin sate ayam di perantauan, ini kali pertama yg aku merasa pas banget semuanya. Ayam empuk, juicy, mateng tapi ga kematengan. Kalo ada yg kelewat crispy alias gosong2 dikit, maklumin aja pas ngebakar sering keganggu bocil2 😂😂. Lumayan lah ngobatin kangen. Apalagi di tempatku kurang banget makanan Indo yg enak. Ada yg jualan PO, some good tapi ya kurang puas kecuali mau kanker (kantong kering 🥲). Apalagi di sini.. kalo ke resto suka ada makanan.. namanya chicken satay tapi dateng2 bentuknya.. tumisan ayam pake bumbu kacang. 😅🙃🫠
kenapa ya walaupun sekarang udah bejibun varian geprek macem2 yang harganya juga lumayan, tapi yang kucari tetep ayam geprek murah buatan warung gini wkwkwk

Dari sisi pelayanan, stafnya ramah semua. Baru duduk aja langsung dilayani sat set, gak pakai nunggu lama.
Soal bakmi, tipikal yang main aman tapi eksekusinya presisi. Gak neko-neko, tapi justru itu yang bikin enak.
Tekstur mienya juga pas di lidah gw. Kenyal, ngaret dikit, tapi tetap ringan dimakan dan gak bikin enek.
Topping-nya juga gak ada yang zonk. Mau bakso, pangsit, atau topping lainnya sama-sama enak.
Nilai plusnya, di setiap meja udah disediain kondimen lengkap. Saus, merica, sambal, dan lainnya tinggal racik sesuai selera.
Kalau baru pertama kali ke sini, saran gw langsung gas porsi jumbo aja.
Percaya deh, pas mangkuknya kosong baru nyesel kenapa tadi gak mesen jumbo. 🤤

Itu awalnya gw foto soalnya dulu jaman covid sering bikin kopi susu pake Frisian flag gold. Seinget gw dulu kandungam susunya lebih tinggi dari yg expired 2024.
Then a few weeks ago, gw cek lagi, ternyata tambah turun wak. Seinget gw kandungannya susunya setara sama frisian flag non-gold yg dulu.
Corleone (68k) - Double cheeseburger dengan caramelized onion, patty-nya full daging bukan dari patty pre-made frozen, bukan smash burger jadi berasa tebel dan masih juicy patty-nya.
Clemenza (49k) - Spicy chicken burger, pake sauce pedes + keju. Leaps and bounds above mcspicy mekdi deh.
Tempatnya di seberang bangunan bekas RS Harapan Depok jalan Pemuda, jualan tacos sama bakmi juga cuma buat gw paling enak burgernya sih.
