It's honestly such an amazing song with heart and love. Donny Osmond truly can sing, I wish this song was on Spotify.

Do young people in your country hate Baby Boomers or the older generations, perhaps for ruining the economy and the world?

Well, in Indonesia, it is in between Baby Boomers and Gen X. I wouldn't say they lived in a great time because between 1950-1990s, Indonesia was not a (proper) democracy.

However, in Indonesia I can see the trend sometimes of young people calling out Boomers, particularly that these people and Gen X are currently holding government positions and while they have toppled a dictatorship and created democracy, they have not fulfilled lots of their promises and in fact is way more visibly corrupt, and made the economy and life way harder.

And perhaps similar to the western world, it's the arguments "You have to work harder," or "you're selfish." or "Boomers: Work 12 hours to afford a home; Millennials/Gen Z: Work 12 hours to afford rent."

Tried an underrated Batak Dish as a Muslim. Nila Tombur did not disappoint

This is just me, but Arsik is great, soft, and spicily savory. However, Ikan Mas can be a bit difficult to eat, especially that their bones are small and more scattered around the body when cooked.

Then I came accross Nila Tombur, it has a more simpler, andaliman and candlenut compared to the more variety flavors of Arsik, the Ikan Nila is fried.

[Opinion] Ironic that Walter White's Spanish sounded way better than Gus Fring

Of course, by no means, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) don't speak Spanish well, especially on a native level. But even then, Walter White's (effort to) Spanish, especially his pronunciation, is actually descent considering his background and character. I think it's because he was a High School teacher in Albuquerque, which perhaps require or need to accommodate to Spanish a bit or perhaps Bryan Cranston learned some Spanish.

I know it's only a show, but it's funny that Walter White, an American, can speak and sound Spanish slightly better than Gus Fring, a man supposedly from Chile (despite the actor not coming from a Spanish speaking country).

Single Mothers who are entrepreneurs or self-employed, how are you handling it?

I'd like to hear your stories of how you are able to raise your child(ren), noting that entrepeneurs and self-employed don't always have a steady and stable income, sometimes high sometimes low. And for Entrepeneurs, their schedules can be both busy or full than a common employee.

Tried Riau's Mie Sagu, Indonesia's Japchae or Shirataki basically

But unlike Japchae and Shirataki, Mie Sagu from Riau province has more spices and often focus more on the eggs than the vegetables.

If US presidents go on a ten mile marathon race, who will be the top five in your opinion?

For me, they are:

-George W. Bush: As of now the only president proven to have run a marathon

-Reagan: Was an actor, so probably had athletic training

-Obama: Very outgoing, not surprised if he

-Teddy Roosevelt: Yea, he's overweight, but he has the makings of an athlete

-Kennedy: Like Teddy, he is young, so he might be athletic than the others

Tried Rabeg from Serang last night

It's a very savory, sweet, and warmly spiced goat stew. In a nutshell, it is a mix of semur and tongseng.

Thenplace I am eating is what is considered the best Rabeg in Serang and Indonesia, nex Carlos has recommended it in his videos.

Eventhough it is heavily influenced by arab cuisine of rabg, I like the Indonesian/Bantenese interpretation of it.

What Gen Alpha meme/brainrot did your country contribute?

Ladies and gentlemen, from Indonesia we present the annoying tung-Tung Sahur.

For those out of the loop, Tung-Tung Sahur is a viral, AI-generated internet meme and absurdist character that blew up on TikTok. It looks like a bizarre, creepy wooden humanoid wooden creature. "terrifying anomaly" only appears during sahur during Ramadhan day. According to the joke, if you get called for sahur three times and don’t answer, the wooden creature will show up.

What about your country? Especially those not from the US, did your country ever contribute to gen Alpha memes or brainrot?

[Season 3] I think DA Sinclair and Darkwing II are perfect sources and arguments for Mark and Cecil's debate on reforming villains

Darkwing II acknowledges that what he did was wrong (killing criminals die to trauma and loss) and was genuinely trying to help the team. This support Cecil's argument "You don't waste people like that, you reform them. Repair them. Let them make restitution for their mistakes."

However, there is also DA Sinclair, who is absolutely unhinged and only created reanimen because he loves it and sees it as a personal sick achievement. This supports Mark's argument that some villains are best put to justice, not reformed.

And it still fits Mark and Cecil's debate, both of them have good points, but at the same time each have flaws in their arguments.

Note: I am aware in season 4 that DA Sinclair has apologized to Mark, but I wished I had my user account that day and share this opinion.

I realized that if she didn't give the money to him, they would have left Albuquerque and Breaking Bad would have ended way differently. Another butterfly effect.

In Season 4, when Walt received the threat that Gus was going murder Walt and his entire family, he desperately asked Saul for the Disappearer's services so he and his family can escape.

Of course, using the services was very expensive because it requires hiding facilities and discrete transport. Nevertheless they would need to supply.

However, when Walt came home to stack and collect the money, Skyler told him that she gave The Money to Ted to pay off the IRS.

I feel this is rarely discussed, but if Skyler didn't give the money to Ted, then Breaking Bad would have ended there. Gus and Mike would have still been alive, Jesse would continue working for Gus.

The White family not only has to hide and run away from Gus, they have to also hide from the DEA and The IRS.

But what in your opinion are other effects of Walt and his family's disappearance?

My guess:

  • Hank would be paranoid and rageful that Walt suddenly disappeared, either he discovered Walt is Heisenberg and he gets mad, or he believed Gus murdered the White family and goes on a manhunt against him
  • Flynn would be confused why they needed to flee abruptly. He would discover the truth and genuinely be pissed that Walt is a criminal and ruined his high school life and separated his friends.

🔥 Hot ▲ 7.7k r/southpark

I just realized that none of the kids in South Park (except Cartman probably) ever mock or made fun of Jimmy and Timmy's disabilities

Mostly in stereotypical movies or cartoons taking place in school, you are bound to see disabled people at least teased at. In South Park, the children in school don't do that.

My prediction for the 2029 Indonesian Presidential Election

Brown is for Prabowo Subianto

Beige is for Dedi Mulyadi

Prabowo Subianto is the current Indonesian president, currently disliked by younger generations below 40 and that might affect his election chances

Dedi Mulyadi is the Governor of West Java, currently the most populated province. He is known as a content governor who uses TikTok and Instagram to campaign isntead of relying on traditional media.

Eventhough both Prabowo and Dedi are in the same party, and that Dedi is currently still serving his first term, these two are the strongest contenders.

After trying every steamed coconut rice, here is what I think the differences are (Nasi Uduk, Nasi Liwet, Nasi Gemuk, Nasi Lemak)

Note:

  • What I shared on my insta story is my opinion, of course can be subjected to mistakes. Would be happy if anyone share some thoughts about this, tks.
  • My instagram and name is private mind you ^_^
  • Does not count coconut rices covered or wrapped in Banana Leaves like Lemper. But Lemper is still tasty
