What if McCain won 08'?

After Al Gore won 2000 and 2004 with his Vice President, John Kerry. McCain won the 08' GOP primary, and selected Palin as his running mate. Hillary won the 08' DEM primary, barely beating out the long shot candidate, Obama. She picked Wesley Clark.

McCain won, and won with a strong trifecta. Arizona Governor, Janet Napolitano, nominated Gabby Giffords, Arizona congresswoman, to finish the rest of McCain's term. McCain proposes the McCare, which was his biggest piece of legislation he ever passed. She went onto win a full six year term in 2010, Jeff Flake having a terrible campaign.

John McCain was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, glioblastoma. McCain then spoke to the nation on that night, and told the nation he would resign from the office of President as he only had half a year to a full year, and would rather want to relax and enjoy his last days on the planet.

Vice President, Sarah Palin, took over for McCain and became the president. She did not nominate anybody to be Vice President, going solo. She immediately made the 'Alaskans Drilling Program Act' which would move America to become a more independent economy and speed up drilling in states like Alaska. She pulled out of the COP17 2011 Meeting, saying Climate change was 'Communist nonsense'

Sarah Palin slowly fell into isolation, her own party not working with her. She failed to pass anything more, but would continue to hurt Americans from all corners. Her approval rating hit 19%-- the lowest in history on 19th March, 2012.

She ran for reelection, but faced against Mitt Romney. She destroyed him with her tea party movement and populist ideas-- winning it easily. Obama ran in a big field, but ran on that he would of won 08. He won the primary, and picked Joe Biden as his running mate.

Mitt Romney would announce his Independent run on April 8th, 2012, after dropping out the primary a few days ago. He wanted to steal Utah's EV to cause an electoral tie. He picked Bill Weld to join him as his running mate on the campaign. They'd also target states like New Jersey, Colorado and Maine. Maine only being the other state they gained electoral votes from.

President McCain died in Peoria, Arizona in hospice. He died peacefully in his sleep. The 2012 Democratic ticket alongside Mitt Romney and Bill Weld showed up to the funeral which took place in the capitol on September 9th, 2012.

Obama won, by an landslide. Palin's campaign with her running mate, Rick Santorum, performed terribly in debates, terrible approval ratings, terrible ideas and Rick Santorum in a private call even used an racial slur to describe Barack Obama, using that slur over 40 times in one call.

Rick embraced it, and Palin didn't condemn him. Obama's massive win in the house, senate and presidency would give him a strong, effective and necessary to keep for 14' trifecta. Palin refused to concede the election, and would cause a strain between the transition of Palin to Obama.

Sarah Palin was then caught in a rally 'implying' for her supporters to 'Storm it, and win it'. She was talking about the capitol, and implying that they 'maybe' should prevent the election from getting confirmed. Her supporters believed in her.

On January 4, 2013, 24,581 Palin supporters stormed the capital. Palin purposely prevented national guard from defending the capitol. Local police in D.C and other police in nearby Maryland and Virginia went to D.C to protect the capitol, after D.C police called for help from nearby police districts.

Palin also encouraged republican governors to leave the union, but those attempts weren't effective. Palin watched from the White House, enjoying the destruction. She went to the capitol to join the fight, but was stabbed five times in the stomach. She luckily survived.

All 24,581 were arrested. Alongside Palin. 524 people died in the capitol and only one policeman was killed. Palin was later Impeached by the house and convicted by the Senate. And Obama would immediately start to amend McCare and the Alaskans Drilling Program.

Some notes:

1. I shouldn't have made the "Medical Freedom" party, which is supposed to be Rand Paul's party after ditching Trump but I could have made him just joined the anti-Establishment party which is essentially the party that Democrats and Republicans who hate the uni-party join into. Both the Anti-Establishment and Medical Freedom parties hold a national convention on the same day so I can fix this mistake I made.
2. Despite Joe Biden being Vice President again, he is essentially a Co-President this time and Trump lets him have more power than Biden did as VP under Obama.
3. My logo skills aren't the best so the Hammer drawing which is supposed to be the logo for the Anti-Establishment party isn't the best.
4. The reason why RFK Jr. gets so many votes is that Trump/Biden doesn't do much campaigning, instead they focus on using their money to focus on the vaccine. Also RFK Jr doesn't just focus on his anti-vaccine policies but focus more on the uni-party and the threat of a dictatorship arising from it which attracts a lot of voters towards him.

sorry, kinda unrealistic. its very likely the usa would shatter due to a friction between northerners and southerners, but whatever, it'd be cooler if it didn't shatter and remained a nation.

i kept some stuff from our timeline, like the biting biden boys, the corvo war, the day television died, and added in my own stuff that didnt happen, such as an explosion of american culture and music in france, a fictional band called the flat graves, a news network called fox news, which in the lore is like, very conservative, and always supports the blimp party no matter what, even if the candidate coughed weirdly during the debates, and some musician called oliver tree who i would say blew up in popularity during covid, and did an "actual" world tour sometime in 2025, going to every continent, even antarctica. oliver tree is based off of late peter frelinghuysen if that didn't click easily.

the flag of the united states has 13 stripes to represent the original 13 colonies, and in the top left of the flag, the orange triangle represents dutch heritage, the red triangle represents english heritage, and the blue triangles represents both oceans, with the left one representing the pacific, and the right one representing the atlantic.

i assume washington would live to 1806, because... since he got executed in 1777, nobody can really pinpoint a year he would have died, apart from "sometime during the napoleonic wars" so i just chose some random year in the napoleonic wars, 1806, and decided it to be the year washington died.
