Boong soal gaji

Terima kasih

Tidak selesai kontrak - dicantumkan di CV/tidak?

Hi, di sini saya mau bertanya ttg case adik saya. Adik saya diterima kerja kontrak di sebuah perusahaan makanan instan. Kontraknya 1 tahun, kerjanya sistem shift (3 shift).

Tanya pendapat tentang Kerjaanku (kinda nepotism but not really).

Halo, pengen tanya pendapat kalian. Nah long story short aku udah 2 tahun disini, aku berusaha nutupin kalau aku sodaraan sama manager ku. Aku selalu jaga jarak dan bersikap se-professional mungkin. I take my job seriously, dan menurutku kerjaanku juga bagus. Tapi tahun lalu info nya bocor, hampir sekantor tahu kalau aku sodaraan sama manager dan akhirnya semua yg kulakukan selalu diremehkan. Dan itu jujur bikin aku keciiil banget. Sampe aku ngerasa apapun kerjaan bagus yg kulakukan selalu dikata "ah biasa kan emang sodara nya mr.x". Aku udah di point pengen resign tapi takut ngeliat diluar sana orang cari kerja sesusah itu. What should I do, any recommendations?

I forgot to paraphrase my thesis and I’m scared I’ll lose my degree

Hi everyone, I’m F21, I just graduated from my undergraduate study.

I am very much passionate about my topik skripsi, I wrote everything from my own and did the field research for a month. I did the turnitin check and the percentages are 9% from 40.000 words.

My dosen pembimbing (from what I saw) also got satisfied with my research, she asked me to publish a journal using my field data, with her being the 2nd author.

We then wrote the journal after I graduated, and along the way, I finally got to the methodology section. I then had to saw the definitions and all from my thesis, until I realized that I was unfamiliar with the writing (I always paraphrase everything by myself so I know my own writing).

The writings I’m unfamiliar with are actually the basic definition of qualitative research, unit analisis, primary data, secondary data, interview, observation, teknik analisis data, mostly from Sugiyono.

I realized that it was from the copy of my Kating’s skripsi, where I had 0 intention to copy from because my only purpose was to do the formatting and saw where the references came from. The turnitin doesn’t mark it as a plagiarism because my Kating’s skripsi is restricted due the repository policy so the turnitin database doesn’t have it.

Because of that, I somehow forgot to paraphrase and saw the references dari sumber utama because I was so hectic with my Bab 1 and all, it’s taken so long that I somewhat recognize it as my own writing, when it fact it’s not.

I calculated the plagiarized word and it reached 600 words.

It’s been 3 weeks since I found out about it, and I even had nightmares, I can’t even sleep well. I can’t even continue the journal because I’m so ashamed of myself karena mimpiku sendiri itu jadi dosen, so it’s such a big deal to me.

I then tried to re paraphrase it and basically wrote everything again from the methodology method to made up the mistake, but I also got so scared with other Bab so I basically rechecking all of the references I cited, my pages were reduced to 40 pages. I just realized how imperfect my thesis is.

I also went to the uni’s library to ask for a document change but I think they’re all busy so my concern isn’t their priority.

I can’t functionate properly, I even went to the psychologist and it didn’t help.

Should I tell my supervisor about this? For a note I studied at top 3 uni so I think they’re very much concern and strict with plagiarism.

Thank you.

gaji MT di Magelang

halo le/pak/bu/mas/mba, mau tanya pendapat kalian dong.

makasih.

Give me advice about apply internship via direct

Hi! I'm currently a 4th Network Engineering bachelor's student at a polytechnic. I wanted to ask if it's okay to send a direct message or email to an HR recruiter on platforms like LinkedIn or other professional platforms.

I've applied for many internship positions, but unfortunately I haven't received any offers yet, so I'm considering reaching out directly.

By the way, I'm looking for internships in System Administration, Infra Network, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering, i already have project experience about that roles but self project not work experience then i consider to apply internship so i can have that work experience.

Would this be considered appropriate, or would it come across as unprofessional?

Or maybe you guys have any advice for me so i can easily got internship?

My job is comfy as hell, but my salary has been frozen for 3 years. Am I cooked?

I’ve been at this company for 3 years. It’s honestly a pretty good place. Nice people, low stress, friendly environment, no crazy pressure. Basically a comfy job.

The problem? My salary has been stuck at 5.5 million since I joined. Three years. Zero raise. Not even a tiny bump.

I’ve tried to make myself more visible and show people that I can do more than my usual tasks, but it doesn’t really work here. The company has this culture where nobody can just give extra work to someone else without manager approval. So even if I want to take on more responsibility, there’s basically no easy way for me to prove myself or get more workload.

And honestly, it’s driving me nuts.

Before this job, I worked in high-pressure places with tons of targets and deadlines. Sounds awful, but I actually liked it. I liked being busy, being challenged, and feeling like I was growing. This current job is comfortable, but I feel stuck as hell.

I’m thinking about resigning because there’s been no salary growth at all. And I’m getting married soon, so the idea of having the same income forever is stressing me out hard.

But the job market right now is complete garbage, so I’m scared of making a dumb move.

What would you guys do in my position?

Do I negotiate? Quietly job hunt? Stay and suck it up? Or leave before I get too comfortable and regret it?

ODP/MT or Job Hopping

I'm a fresh Data Science grad and I've been interning at an HR management consulting firm for about 5 months now. The path here is pretty straightforward: intern -> probation -> full-time.

I'm trying to figure out my next move and honestly feeling a bit stuck on which direction to go. I'd love to get some honest advice on a few questions:

  1. Generalist vs Niche Specialist: I see a lot of mixed opinions online. Is it better to keep things broad as a Data Analyst/Scientist early on, or should I focus on a specific niche (like People Analytics or HR data) right away? Which path has better long-term growth and value?

  2. Bank MT/ODP vs Job Hopping: Since I don't have many years of experience yet, I'm still eligible to apply for Management Trainee programs at big banks. From a financial and career standpoint, is it better to enter a structured corporate ladder like a banking MT, or am I better off staying agile and job-hopping every few years to bump my salary faster?

  3. Does consulting experience actually carry weight?. As you may know, consulting has a reputation for high stress and terrible work-life balance, which I'm definitely seeing. But from a hiring manager or HR perspective, does having consulting experience on your resume actually look better than a regular in-house role with the same YOE? Do you get better exit ops?

Just get a job 10 million ++ gross as Freshgrad need advice

Ges mau nanya, akhirnya dapet kerja gaji 10 jt ++ gross as a freshgrad

As A MT di salah satu manufaktur Sepatu.

Gapok 5.5, Transport 500k, Insentif MT 4 jt.

Benefit lain, cuti 12 hari, BPJS.

Udh day 2 kerja disini, di kontrak ga ada denda si kalau mau cabut.

Abis 3 bulan probation ( 6.7 jt gaji sementara ) lgsg diangkat jd kartap.

Kalau ditendang dr program MT, jadi staff biasa thp 6 jt gross.

Jenjang karir

MT staff -> Spv -> Asmen -> Manager

Cmn saya binggung, ttp stay disini, apa saya preparation ambil sertifikasi auditor IT, karena terakhir sy hampir lolos Auditor IT di BRI as BFLP. Jadi kepikiran mau sertif, trus coba lamar lg Mt di mandiri and bri as IT auditor.

Kebetulan pas lg hari 1 masuk kmrn di Manufaktur, ada jg Asmen baru pindahan dr Manufaktur sepatu lain.

Dia blg, dia kerja 10 tahun buat sampai jadi Asmen.

Trus sempet tanya tanya ke HRD, program MT nya udh ada dr 2019, aku tanya lulusannya gmn pd stay ga? Dan jd apa?

Kt dia, ada yg stay, skrg seminimnya supervisor, ada jg yg udh jadi asmen, brti kurleb 5-6 tahunan tuh

Sebenernya saya kepikiran utk cari kerja diluar negeri, kayanya IT Auditor lebih prospek ketimbang MT manufaktur sepatu tekstil

Latar belakang

IT graduate, Intern IT 3x sampe akhirnya dpt full time di manufaktur sepatu.

Tolong pendapatnya

Sharing My Experience Of Successfully Navigating The Job Market

A few years ago, I was working in a small company in a position that was stagnant, unsure what my future will be and desperately looking for a new position so I can have a decent career track. I have since got hired and now have a few recruiters contacting me almost every month or so to refer a job. It may not be something impressive, but for someone whose dream was to land an interview, this situation for me is unreal.

I'm sharing this as maybe my experience might be helpful to get opportunities that hopefully won't be a ghosting situation at least.

My background:

  • Local uni graduate
  • 2 years experience in a company so small no one would know the name of, as a personal assistant.
  • More or less 1 year experience in marketing, but always jumping between companies and never stayed for more than 6 months. All start ups.
  • Currently working in IT services/consulting in administration and sales

Skills I have:

  • Basic microsoft office skills (word, excel, ppt)
  • Japanese (now N2 certified but only N3 certified when I got hired)
  • Korean (not certified)
  • English (not certified)
  • Data science (bootcamp certification)

What I have noticed worked in my case:

Getting a relatively niche but in demand skill and getting certifications
I started by applying to anything that I thought might work, and it never worked. Admittedly, I didn't have any stand out skills that might work for normal Indonesian companies, and my data science certification seemed to not stand out enough for me to find employment for it.

Eventually, however, I tried taking advantage of my language skills and started to largely focus on Japanese and Korean companies while practicing enough to survive an interview. By applying this filter, I chose job openings where I'd either have that one stand out quality in a sea of applicants or only need to compete with a low volume of application due to existing language requirements.

Result:

Korean, not certified> only got one interview callback which eventually led to an offer.
Japanese, N3> got interview callback for all applications, ended up taking the fastest offer.
Japanese worked for me, but it doesn't have to be Japanese for you too. My impression is that it would help to identify what would differentiate you from the average applicant, whether it's being insanely good at your field, or having other plus points that companies might want.

Getting headhunter agents to help
I sent my CV to headhunter agencies and while browsing all the job listings they have, also personally asked the agents to help match me to jobs they think I would qualify for as well.
I know not all agents are good/care much, but it's worth taking the initiative to ask for help. Much like you are looking for a job, they're looking to fulfill targets and get commission from giving you a job. Most of the job offers I get now are also from headhunter agents.

My experience with headhunter agents is fairly positive since they're pretty open about their terms and do not charge candidates for a fee at all. Many Japanese companies also do not hire directly either so the only way to get in is through headhunter agents. I'm not super sure about the case with non Japanese companies, but it is worth a shot.

Posting on LinkedIn
Told this story when I commented on a post in this sub, but I started regularly posting on LinkedIn when I was doing the data science bootcamp. All I posted was the material we learned every week with a low effort caption I wrote by prompting GPT bcs I was lazy and just looking to fufill the bare minimum to graduate lol. This turned out to be great for recruiters to find my profile, even if what I posted was not at all related to my current position in administration/sales which they more often recruit me for.

Feel free to ask me anything!

Question for Indonesian IR graduates: What do you do now? (Looking for career advice)

Hi fellow Indonesian IR students (and graduates)!

Lately I’ve been rethinking my decision to study IR (I just finished my fourth semester), especially with how terrible the job market is.

From what I’ve seen, most people around me seem to be aiming for careers in government institutions, NGOs, or international organizations. Nothing particularly wrong with them… but I honestly don’t think I see myself in those environments.

So, the skills I’ve always been strongest at are writing, editing, and research. Those skills and the likes don’t seem to be that lucrative lol.

So I’m wondering…what are some other skills I could build that would complement my writing and research background while opening up different career options? I’m also pretty terrible at maths, so if there are fields that involve some quantitative work but aren’t heavily math-intensive (??), I’d love to hear about those too.

And if you’re an IR graduate, I’d really appreciate hearing about your career journey. What do you do now? How did you end up there? What’s your day-to-day like, and if you’re comfortable sharing, how’s the pay?

It’s been difficult trying to balance being idealistic with the reality of today’s job market, so I’d really appreciate any insights or advice. Thanks!😊

I know it’s my fault karena gak cek dan ricek, I’m just a freshgraduate yang pengen banget dapet kerja secepatnya.

Cara Switch Career dan Dapetin Remote Job?

Halo, saya sedang bingung gimana caranya mulai switch career.

Background singkat, saya mahasiswa pendidikan yang agak hopeless soalnya pengen ikut ppg malah ternyata jurusannya ga di buka. Sekarang ga tau mau ngapain.

Need advice for a fresh grad looking for a job

Permisi kaka² sekalian.

  5. Kalo perusahaan menanyakan range gaji yang diinginkan, what should i answer?

SAP Engineer Masih Worth Untuk Dipertahankan?

Jujur saya ga ngerti perkembangan SAP di Indonesia kek gimana, and thinking of switching carrier.

I've been in ABAP, BASIC, Functional, and now lead in the current department. And I feel like there is no improvement.

Anyone experienced halojob/Aira AI Interview?

Has anyone here done an AI interview using Aira (Halojob)?

It's my first time applying through Halojob, and I just received an invitation to schedule an AI interview using Aira.

I was wondering if anyone here has gone through the process before.

I have a few questions:

  • How does the process work?
  • Is it live or prerecorded?
  • Does AI evaluate the answers, or does HR review them later?
  • Do you get preparation time before each question?
  • Any tips to prepare?

Thanks.
