Molly's coat progress at 1 year 🐶

Molly's coat progress at 1 year 🐶

Just wanted to show how beautiful Molly is, and how much her coat has lightened up. Once was chocolate is now silver with a rosey nose.

Anybody else start with a chocolate and end up a different color? The fading gene is strong with this one 💜

Sneaky sneaky

Just another day in Kaigo’s world 😂 if only it was so easy to steal the entire container of treats as if I don’t hear them shaking around from across the room.

Leo is losing hair on his lower back

This is Leo! He’s 9 years old and has been losing hair on this patch of his lower back for about three years now. Over the last few weeks I’ve noticed it getting much thinner than before. Our vet seems to brush it off and insist that it’s fine & normal. He doesn’t have any allergies that we know of. Any advice?

14 month old Labradoodle

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice with my 14 month old Labradoodle. Overall he is a very sweet dog, but we are struggling a lot with leash walking and I’m not making much progress.

He constantly pulls on the leash and I cannot get him to walk calmly beside me. I’ve tried clicker training, but once we are outside he completely ignores the clicker and gets distracted by everything around him. Walks are becoming really frustrating because I feel like I can’t get his attention at all outside.

Another issue is excitement peeing. Whenever I come home or sometimes even when I pet him, he pees a little from excitement. This can happen even when he seems calm. He is otherwise fully house trained and knows to pee and poop outside.

Has anyone dealt with this around this age? Any advice would really help.

Thanks!

Kai is growing

My little girl is growing up. She loves the off leash walks on the golf course. Her sisters are getting trounced, but showing her how to be a good dog. Summer will be too hot for such adventures, so we are enjoying this while we can.

Not Too Bad!

Birdie has a wiry long coat with some waves on her back. 5 minutes after a brushing she looks like she lives in a garbage dump. So I bought one of those vacuum, brushes, clipper things. This is after my first attempt at clipping her. Not bad! She's cleaned up and handled it well and got a 20 min reward with a beef cheek.

It was worth the 30.00 for the grooming machine. I'll improve hopefully. I didn't do her paw pads. It has a separate small clipper for those, but I might just use blunt scissors. She lets me usually do her beard and eyebrows with those. Both are after pics.
