I’m just going to leave this right here….

I don’t know if this truly is the actual plans for the lake coaster or not, but there are some people out there claiming this is the plan.

Leaving it here for everyone to discuss.

Where in the Park: Week 6

Sorry for missing it last week, I haven't had much time at the park to find photos for this. I'll try and make it up this week.

Can't wait for the 4 main projects over the next 5-6 years

What do you think is going on in the 4 projects ??

Project 1- old Jetstar/flying aces spot Rumor says a race care themed ride Slated for 2027

Project 2- the cat area of the zoo Rumor is nostalgic rides -including flying aces - what else do you think is going there ?
No announcement yet but my prediction is 2 years

Project 3- Frisco and behind pioneer village and to the south part of the lagoon Rumor is a flight themed B&m mega coaster No announcement yet but I think it's gonna take 3-4 years to build so maybe 2029 or 2030?

Project 4 the train Rumor is it is being rerouted all around the park In the 80's and 90's used to have a train through pioneer village maybe they will reconnect it ? I think this will come out AFTER the new coaster cause I think it's gonna mix into the new coaster area So 2029??

What are your theories ??

My first time was 1980!

I love Lagoon, I’ve been going since I was a child. I’ve taken all 5 of my children and will probably take my grandchildren as well. I love what they are doing with the bar and ice cream shop facade. The nutcracker is terrifyingly awesome. And I love that you can bring in your own food and drinks.
Here’s the thing I just want it to be the best it can be. I would have some little suggestions and I would love to know yours as well. Here’s what I think would elevate it just a smidge.

  1. Get rid of the crusty pond with 20 ft of debris, save the wildlife and expand the waterpark instead. Maybe a wave pool? Or make it into a giant clear lagoon. Hot tubs maybe?

2.Install some misters and shade in the lines

  1. Have some kind of vip program or better group discounts.

Anyone have any more thoughts of how Lagoon could elevate the experience?

The lake is atrocious!

Has anyone noticed the water by the swings and tidal wave? I’m convinced it hasn’t been clean since I was a child. (40 years ago) Trash about 3 ft deep with turtles and wildlife trying to wade through it. It’s heartbreaking. 💔 I would love to start some sort of petition to have it drained and cleaned. Thoughts?

Update on Jet Star 2 replacement project:

Demolition has begun on the Flying Aces pad and construction fencing has gone up around the plot.

Overrated/Underrated

Alright, what do you think is the most overrated ride and most underrated ride at lagoon?

For me, most overrated is wicked, the first half is well… wicked, but the second half is boring and the restraints hurt.

Underrated is both terroride and bombora. Both make me smile every time.

Game to Play at Lagoon

So with season passes, we wanted to shake things up. I made up a game to play while we were there. You get points for different rides and can also block out teams from different lands. (If anyone watches Jet Lag: The Game, it was inspired by it.) Here it is: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jeadVjvAHVXXp-d86jQLPR_ZFAdo8IubMiMfUUznjGI/edit?usp=sharing

And if nothing else, it's also a spreadsheet of all the rides at Lagoon. Minus Dracula's Castle.
