I got an email for callbacks in a musical, but I never auditioned.
I considered signing up for it while auditions were open, but I didn't do them, mainly because the people I knew would not be with me, plus I'm pretty sure the director hates me. I've been improv acting for 3 years now at haunted houses and recently did my first script acting during a 24 hour theater competition run by this musicals director. I never gave her my email, phone number, or anything like that for that competition I moved past it and started looking at more professional theaters near me. But about an hour ago, I got an email saying that I could be in the cast and was eligible to sign up for any role I want. But I don't want to get punished or something since again, I NEVER AUDITIONED. It is addressed to me and has the sign-ups linked and everything. I do want to do script acting and there are some roles I think I could pull off well. Do I ignore it? Do I take a risk and sign it up, potentially making her hate me even more, but also possibly giving me my first real acting role? What should I do?
Edit: This is the email I was sent
