Where in the Park: Week 6

Where in the Park: Week 6

Sorry for missing it last week, I haven't had much time at the park to find photos for this. I'll try and make it up this week.

Where in the park: Week 5

Let's do something a little different this week. For the past 4 weeks, I've been taking a picture and asking you where that picture was taken. But this week, I will ask the question and see if any of you can guess. You can either take a picture of it or respond with text.

Now that Frightmares construction is in full swing, the parts the make up the houses are being pulled out of storage for the season. But that begs the question, where are they stored in the off season. Where in the park does Lagoon keep their Frightmares supplies during the summer?

Frightening Frisco moving outside Pioneer Village this season

So, I'm a Frightmares employee and I just learned from the Frightmares supervisors that Pioneer Pavillion (where Frisco has been set up all these years) is being torn down this year. It is being torn down due to being unsafe, a lack of popularity during the normal season, and major leaks during rainfall. While I don't remember exactly where they said Frisco will be moved, it is likely going to be located outside Pioneer Village, either behind Nightwalk or on the backside of Fun house of Fear and Nightmare Midway. Of course the information I heard isn't official and this post isn’t a company statement, but it still sad to hear that the house will likely be moved after all these years in Pioneer Pavillion.

Where in the Park: Week 4

Kicking the difficulty up a notch since you guys guessed the last one within 6 minutes of me posting it.

Where in the Park: Week 3

Okay, last week's might have been too easy, so I'll dial it up slightly more. Where was this photo taken? I did have to step back a bit for the camera to capture it, but let's see what that does.

Where in the Park: Week 2

Last week's was a little too hard, so I decided to dial it back a bit for this week. Simply guess where in the park this photo was taken and if you guess correctly, you win.

Where is this?

I found a funny sign in the park the other day and wanted to share it. Whoever can tell me where in the park this sign is located wins. If you want, I can do a few more of these and make it a sort of contest.

Disclosure Day was the best movie of 2026 so far.

I watched Disclosure Day today and loved it from the opening boxing match (weird way to start the movie). It definitely has its problems. The score doesn't really exist for the first third or so of the movie, some extra exposition on the artifacts and Noah would have been nice, and it does get a tiny bit repetitive towards the end, but otherwise it was great. The acting was excellent, no notes. The action was exciting and the cinematography was excellent (wow, what a shock). The characters were pretty good, and the film felt so creative. Like, every encounter with the bad guys just felt like it was getting more and more interesting, which made the repetition not feel that bad, at least for me. And I honestly really liked how it ended. No celebration, no joy, no secret twist, no anything. You see the disclosure, and the shock it delivers, nothing more. Spielberg leaves it up to you to decide what the world does with this information. And the way it is handled feels fairly real, albeit with a little too much acceptance.

The review that I've seen seem pretty devisive, but for me, this was such an easy movie to love. Honestly, looking at the other movies I've seen this year, it was probably my favorite so far. Mandalorian and Grogu was just okay, the Mario Galaxy Movie was fairly disappointing even if I still liked it, Michael was pretty good, but was never something I would fall in love with, and The Last Act was a great finale, but the series it was a part of didn't really get good until episode 5. Even Project Hail Mary, which was a great movie, really annoyed me (though most of my issues with it stem from the fact that it was adapted from one of my favorite books ever and was not a great adaptation).

While Project Hail Mary was probably a better movie and will definitely be remembered for way longer than Disclosure Day, I honestly don't care. This movie was made with a passion behind it, and I hope that it starts another streak of greatness for the amazing filmmaker that is Stephen Spielberg.

I got an email for callbacks in a musical, but I never auditioned.

I considered signing up for it while auditions were open, but I didn't do them, mainly because the people I knew would not be with me, plus I'm pretty sure the director hates me. I've been improv acting for 3 years now at haunted houses and recently did my first script acting during a 24 hour theater competition run by this musicals director. I never gave her my email, phone number, or anything like that for that competition I moved past it and started looking at more professional theaters near me. But about an hour ago, I got an email saying that I could be in the cast and was eligible to sign up for any role I want. But I don't want to get punished or something since again, I NEVER AUDITIONED. It is addressed to me and has the sign-ups linked and everything. I do want to do script acting and there are some roles I think I could pull off well. Do I ignore it? Do I take a risk and sign it up, potentially making her hate me even more, but also possibly giving me my first real acting role? What should I do?

Edit: This is the email I was sent
