I just started freelancing as a photographer and here are some of my photos

My account is a.frame.lb and I just started freelancing. Used to work with a wedding photography/videography company. And now that I have a camera (r7) and a good lens, I can become my own business. If you liked the photos and want a photoshoot, or you'd like to follow me 👀, you can message me on Instagram.

Culture wise, does Lebanon have any traditional hairstyles?

Either gender can work. Im really, really interested in the history and culture of this country.

While, yes, i myself am lebanese, i always bounced around from school to school in and outside the country so nothing really stuck in terms of history of my country.

Help picking out a ups for a gaming pc

Hello,

I'm in the market for a ups to power my gaming pc (9070xt, 7800x3d and a 27inch 1440p screen). What i can tell is that i need at least an 800w capacity ups and that it should be either an online one or pure sine wave system. Anyone has a similar gaming system and can give some recommendations for products in the lebanese market, and/or some feedback (how long does the battery last, is 800w enough ...). Thanks in advance.

Wildest Lebanon dating stories

I’ll start, I was dating a girl who wanted me for two years, it was all going well sunshine n rainbows and she told her parents, her parents being hyper religious finding out that I own a dog didn’t go well, they forced her to break it off and I got a call from her dad threatening to shoot me if I didn’t block her🤐, she still blows up my phone till this day
( drop yours)

Buying a car need help please

I am planning a move from Dubai to Lebanon, initial thought was to bring a car from there but with the horrific custom duties I realized this isn't the right move. So the options I have are 1) Buy an EV car from Dubai and ship it to Lebanon with 0% customs 2) Buy a hybrid from Dubai and ship to Lebanon with 20% hybrid and last option is to 3) Purchase from Lebanon and pay the higher premium with lower quality unfortunately

Can I have genuine advice and help please with some ideas, I am interested in a heavy duty SUV initial thought was a Jeep Wrangler type of car, thank you!

I got "inshallahed" after asking her out for coffee 😂

So I have discovered a new stage of dating I never crossed before: getting isnhallahed.

There is this Arab (non leb) girl I keep seeing at the same place. For the last three weeks we have been talking almost every day. She stops me, start talking about random crap, and somehow 5 minutes turns into 30. And we have to get kicked out of that place.

Lots of laughing, personal questions, eye contact, positive vibes and energy. At some point I had to conclude "ya sabeh she has at least some interest in you".

So the other day, once again, we had been talking forever. At this point they were preparing to kick us out because we had overstayed our conversational welcome. So safa2ta we7dit : “considering we never seem to finish our conversations here, we should actually go have a coffee sometime and continue our discussion”

Perfectly delivered, natural, smooth, with a smile, and then...Her face went through the entire visible color spectrum. Red. Then maybe pink. Possibly blue. Yimkin kamena shwayyit yellow.

She hesitated for a second and finally said:

"Inshallah"

Shoo nshallah hay?? 2ooleh la2, 2olleh mish fadyeh, 2ooleh sakkir 3al mawdoo3...7ayalla shee...kazzbeh 3layyeh...bass wtf is inshallah? God is willing we go on a date?

I didnt get rejected. I got Inshallahed. At this stage I am not sure which one is worse.

3m fakkir 23zema lyom 3ala romantic Italian supper. Barkeh hiyyeh ma bt7ebb l2ahweh 😂

Pumpkin seed oil and saw palmetto for hair loss

I saw the thread about men hair-loss btw.

Unfortunately im a female😅 not male, and yes i have aga (androgenic alopecia)

I wont go into details but ive been using minoxidil 5% foam since 2021, used spironolactone for 1.5 years then stopped (bz i naturally have Low blood pressure and the med was making it worse).

So since then ive been only using minoxidil, dermarolling.

My recent blood test including hormones are normal (which is weird so lets say i have this from genetics).

I want to see if anyone tried natural alternatives like pumpkin seed oil (actual oil or pills) and saw palmetto if u have the same case as me or its just a trend people are talking about on social media

Thanks in advance

Penpals

A while ago someone posted they were looking for penpals. I think it’s a great idea and wondering if anyone specifically 35 years old and over would be interested in a slower-paced exchange of messages, in a letter style. Reply at your own pace. Talk about your day, share any highs and lows etc.
If it’s of any interest — I’m a creative person. I love contemporary arts and culture. Silly sense of humour. Empathetic and kind. Drop me a message

Electric Scooters

Hey guys, I am looking for an electric scooter that won't break the bank and can be reliable for someone who goes out frequently. The issue is that I do not only need it for zwerib, I need something that is good for Beirut. Does anyone have any suggestion?

Visiting Lebanon

We are a couple visiting Lebanon for a quick two days getaway, and I was wondering about the current security situation and whether it has affected the night life in vibrant areas in Beirut Byblos, and Batroun, and the day scenes at the good beach front clubs…

Plus if there are any recommendations to hit exclusive venues as we are interested in hidden gems where we can meet interesting people, rather than famous places full of tourists.

One last thing, should we bring extra cash with us? Or we can still use our visa/master with no issues.

Advice for getting into photography

My gf wants to get into photography, she specially mentioned portraits. So I want to get her a camera + lens as a gift but I have no idea at all what to look for and where!

My budget is around $1500 and I want something that is not too big/heavy. I tried asking chatgpt but it gets confusing with which lens fits which camera model + I don't really know which stores in Lebanon offer good prices
