Hi there, I have a question about Turkish citizenship. I will give some details about the situation:

My paternal grandfather is a turk, born in turkey and is a Turkish citizen

My paternal grandmother (his partner) is British, born in the UK

They married in the UK and my father was born out of wedlock

His birth was registered with the Turkish consulate in London at the time

I was born out of wedlock also in the UK

My father does not have a Turkish passport/mavi kart or anything of the sort and never has, he only has a UK passport but to my understanding he is a citizen of Türkiye

Am I eligible to become a Turkish citizen? If so, here are some questions:

1. I am 20 years old. If I get my passport will I have to do military service now?
2. How would I go about becoming a citizen?
