East Wing in Lego Studio

East Wing in Lego Studio

Hey all,

I am planning to build my own MOCs such as the Long Gallery, Central Tower and Belltowers, which are behind the East WIng. To facilitate a good scale compared to the East Wing I recreated it in Studio. This was also a good exercise for me to build sets in this program, and I am getting faster and faster at using the software. I have omitted the Slytherin Common Room and the Chamber of Secrets currently. Let me know if you desire these to be added.

I wanted to share this studio file so others can also use it in their designing process. What do y'all use to share your LEGO Harry Potter model files?

Thank you in advance! I will edit my post with a link to download it once I get a recommendation.

74673 East Wing Moc?

I have all of the new modular Hogwarts EXCEPT 74673 (the new East Wing with the two bridges).

Any leads on a good moc east wing I can make with the older Hogwarts to save a little money? 😅 Struggling to make something that continues with the same look and attaches correctly.

Lockhart’s Modular classroom

I wanted Lockhart’s classroom in the current castle line so I took some of the elements from the old chamber of secrets set and put it in the flying lesson set and removed the quidditch equipment

Hogwarts castle MOC (2013).

I’m currently building a Hogwarts castle MOC, it will be in the ballpark of 27 000 pieces. I did however complete one back in 2013. Sadly I took very few pictures of it and the picture quality left a lot to be desired. Yesterday I tried to somewhat restore the pictures with the help of AI. Some areas look a bit funky but overall the pictures look good enough to share!

Sadly I do not have any pictures of the interior.

Which Figure Are You MOST Excited to See For Potential Show Sets?

Personally I'm most excited for:

- Peeves

- Harry, Ron, Hermione

- Hagrid

- Snape

- Dumbledore

Basically all the heavy hitters, but I'm also excited to see how they do the hogwarts robes and slight different facial prints for characters we've already had a lot for the movie sets.

Last one. Can you help me identify what sets these might be from?

I moved a few years ago and am putting back together sets that got destroyed. I've reassembled a dozen sets so far, and these are the pieces left. Looks like there's no complete sets, but I'm not sure what I missed in my other sets that's accounted for here. Any idea?

LEGO Harry Potter 76478 Book Nook: Dumbledore's Office

Build the set today, 10 packs with 1,182 pieces. There are also two sticker sheets as shown in the last picture. Not a big fan of those, personally I would have preferred printed parts, but it is as it is.

In the third picture I put it "into action" on my bookshelf, but it's actually a little too long for it and sticks out a bit. Personally, I don't have any books that are as long as the Book Nook right now. It would fit better if turned sideway but the sides are rather ugly and also the 'books' in Dumbledore's office are 'shining through' it.

So yeah, overall I think it's fine if you put it on display as in picture 1 or use it like that as a playset, but I don't think it's a good book nook (unless you have different books that fit the measurements better).

Endlich Landschaft

Mein Favorit: Lunas Haus. So schön bunt.

Small Modular hogwarts

Little project I've been working on during my uni breaks.

Half and half between some lego sets and my own builds. Here are the sets used in the build;

76410-1

76386-1

76460-1

All other parts came from my existing lego tub.

Super stoked to share. All i want to do now is flesh out the interior. Let me know what you think!

Hmm…What Do You Guys Think This Means for the Castle System?

Dobby meeting Harry? Would that be just a diorama of his room?

My complete Hogwarts castle setup

MOC parts with the exception of Astronomy Tower (that's my creation) were designed by Gobsmack and you can buy them on Rebrickable. Take in mind that all of these MOCs were modified to fit the current Hogwarts system, most notably I swapped the roofs for dark bluish grey and adjusted the height.

76447 vs 75956

Hi everyone, I’m putting the finishing touches on my Hogwarts modular display and I’m between two final additions. I can either grab the 2025 Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lesson (76447) for $50 or pick up two of the older Quidditch Match (75956) sets for $80 total to build a bigger stadium. Which one do you think will be a better idea. Only reason I’m not fully sold on the flying lessons is because it doesn’t have an official connection and to me seems like a standalone piece that’s just attached to make the castle bigger rather than following the actual layout of the castle.
