Wanted to build a display for all my Privet Drive related sets. Didn’t modify any sets too heavily, and built the base, a custom tree and a garage that the house desperately needed.

What’s everyone’s opinions on the brown that seems to be standard for filch figures these days? I personally much preferred the grey and think it was more accurate over the brown, and still think the 2018 version of the figure is the best, and the brown one kinda gives me more Filch from the books. Curious what everyone else’s thoughts are?

These sets are less complete mainly Durmstrang Ship and Shrieking Shack as shown I also unfortunately do not have a lot of the minifigs such as: Voldemort (So sad),vPettigrew, Harry and Ron from Hogwarts Express, Sirius Black dog form, Lupin’s Wolf form head

Price negotiable I would also sell both this and the previous job lot together for 900 GBP open to offers

I converted the New York Postcard to recreate the Chamber of Secrets train scene.

got the 2024 advent calendar and decided to use at least the bottoms of the statues and use the designs from the talking sorting hat (mostly because I don’t have the printed Slytherin locket and I can’t find the spare silver tiara possibly bricklink order in the future to fix) for the treasures of the Hogwarts houses

The collection includes every set from the 2001-2003 waves apart from Quality Quidditch Supplies + multiple duplicates of sets in varying / incomplete state

The complete sets are in very good used condition and have been recently reassembled most are 99-100% complete but I tried my best to keep track of which pieces were missing from the rest below, all minifigs + spares included I’m only missing two heads (Ginny and Reversible Quirrel/Voldemort)

Confirmation that LEGO can combine sets from both the movie and the series. This means there is a chance for more castle sections branded with the series, just like we have in the case of Spider-Man.

Two weeks ago I posted I wanted to get started with the castle and I did. I started with the great hall, boat house and Hagrid’s Hut.

I still need make some space for next sets 🙈🤣

I’m looking into the main tower or east wing as my next set. Which one do you prefer? I like them both. 🙈

The main tower I can get cheaper at another retailer which is why I’m leaning to that one for now. There is also no GWP on the LEGO store for now 🙈

Finally got hold of a CMF Mind Flayer dress piece for Bellatrix. Until/unless we get her signature dress, I'm happy with this. 😎

Since my post yesterday I worked a bit more on the music classroom MOC. Let me know what you think!

The sets could break down like this

BIG SETS
- Astronomy Tower
- Long Gallery and Bell Towers (potentially with place to put the greenhouse)
- Central Tower

SMALL SETS
- Building across from Hospital Wing set with Suspension Bridge
- Back part of Quad (connecting to Hospital Wing Set) I could see them sort of turning this into the clock tower
- West side of Quad, kind of a mirror to the Hospital Wing set.

I'm leaving out the tower and wall around the Astronomy tower as that feel unrealistic.

This could take us through 3 more years, if the 3 year cycle does indeed matter.
The fact that we have Flying Lesson, the Greenhouse, and the Owelry makes me assume that we'll get more of the castle as they are such random parts to include.
Additionally, we've only been through the first two movies, touched on the third a little, and have one random set from movie 8. That's a whole lot of interiors and minifigs that lack representation in this wave.

I ended up having to remove the 1x1s that the chains are attached to so it could fit into the Hospital Wing. I also had to sacrifice the curved walls, but regardless, I love it so much more now!
