What happened? He drove in Q1 and Q2 like it was 2018 again but it didn’t seem to click in Q3 and he’s even been outqualified by Leclerc. P3 is good but pole was really on the cards so it’s sad 😔.

EDIT : P3 for Race Quali - not bad but I hoped for a Pole seeing that he was literally a rocket in Q1 and Q2 .

But I suppose that’s what has helped him and it’s a part of his personality, trying to find more lap time but maybe sometimes theres not more to be found and you’re doing the best already.

This weekend reminded me of what Lewis had to endure in GE. They didn’t listen to him, much like they kept gaslighting George now. In the GE era, they got the upgrade wrong and kept blaming it on driving style. Now they delivered a package to their golden boy and it’s a flop.
