My favorite shots from my $3 “display piece” Taron Auto EE, before it broke for good

I got this camera at a used camera store for $3 as a non-working display piece. The camera is a 1965 Taron Auto EE (rangefinder with aperture priority mode). The artifacts in the beach pics are because the film got jammed in the camera and I opened it in a room that wasn’t perfectly light tight. The color photo is an accidental triple exposure. That was the camera’s last hurrah before the aperture petals broke off and the focusing ring disconnected.

Why is Lomography asking for credit card for verification

Context:

I traveled recently. Got back and received this email from lomography. I verified it's the usual noreply email from lomography. I'd this normal? I have not used my credit card to buy anything from the store either
