Indoor low-light no-flash lomography [RETO UWAL - Kodak UltraMax 400]

A visit to game and toys shop and also going back to the place for anime and car events.

What I found is such indoor low light no-flash lomography photos can get good results if the lighting condition is just exactly right. Also, this camera still have no built-in flash so it often producing very poor result in indoor photography with warm daylight light colors. Images still blurry sometimes.

Was expecting to capture the good images of cosplayer photos but unfortunately ended up pretty bad which I don't want to show it here. Good thing I have captured it first on my phone beforehand.

Correction: RETO UWS (Ultra Wide & Slim) instead of RETO UWAL, basically a cheap clone of Vivitar battery-less model.

Old IDE drives sometimes works much better than modern drives when it comes to dumping game discs...

Had facing issues where several PSX game discs like this one above were unable to be dumped using modern external slim drive (Dell branded) and then I had the old IDE drive lying around the room and decided to use it surprisingly works well.

Most of modern disc drives often throws out disc read error when trying to dump the game disc despite the disc is absolutely clean and have minor scratches, probably some of features had been removed just to keep the cost down further.

If you're using some sort of USB slim external drives or any other SATA disc drive and facing a problem where the drive unable to dump the game disc properly, you might want to switch to old IDE drives instead.

Using PS1 controller for main menu navigating instead of just using with PSX core

Hi.

I recently bought the Retro Remake transparent blue ones and I decided to use the PS1 controller with this device. However, I had to connect with another controller just to get the PSX core running first before using the PS1 controller.

Does it possible to use PS1 controllers entirely inside the Retro Remake system including main menu navigation so I don't need to use secondary controller only just to do that? Thanks.
