I dislike the bezel to lug transition and small dial on my (older) Falcon

Hi everyone! I recently bought a used transitional (no quick adjust) Lorier Falcon III.

The watch is a clever homage to so many icons, and I hope it will find its place among the wider audience.

But having only seen it online before buying, I now noticed two things that keep me (mildly) dissatisfied.

  1. The transition between the lugs and the bezel is like this: round bezel into a roughly octagonal shape at its base and later into the lugs. This leaves small areas that catch light in a displeasing manner.

  2. The dial looks too small. There's a lot of distortion cased by the crystal, then there's some free space (visually), then there's the minute track. It leaves me with an impression that the dial is from a 32-34mm watch instead of a 36mm one. It might be a homage to Rolex Bubble Back, but it just doesn't look modern or practical.

Bonus:

  1. The hands are a bit too flat. Should either be faceted (like Ulysse Nardin Big Crown) or have a slightly larger lume triangle on the hour hand (Ranchero, Railmaster) and a slightly different shape.

  2. I don't understand the Speedmaster type seconds hand. Why not lollipop?

  3. The lugs are too long. I guess 2-4mm of l2l could be shaved off.

I hope no one feels offended. I only wanted to provide direct and helpful critique.

Lorier watches restock?

Hi! I recently got Lorier on my radar, and now I can’t stop thinking about their watches.
The “mid-2026” release date is going to drive me insane. I’ve already signed up for the newsletter, but if anyone here has any insight into when “mid-2026” might actually mean, I’d love to hear it.
Otherwise, feel free to show me your Neptune or Astra!
