can we STOP this?

why are people voting for a couple just because they like one person in the couple? whoever is the most compatible and has strongest connection deserves to win. literally what’s the point? sincere is going to continue treating her bad and they will probably break up a week or two after the reunion just like amaya and bryan. this is not sympathy island and i say this as someone who likes melanie.

Sincere aka Sinister

Sincere literally likes hurting people. You can tell by his body language and the look on his face, every single time he’s actively upsetting someone, or someone is crying over him, he doesn’t even PRETEND to look like he cares…. it almost looks like he actually thoroughly enjoys it. there ain’t nothing behind those narcissistic eyes, not even a damn thought. not his own, anyways. i just know he thinks he’s so clever with his weirdo one liners and metaphors 💀 he gives me an incredible amount of icccck.

i think bro might even be DL, ngl… def giving me those vibes by the way he treats women and how obsessed he is w himself. the type to treat his boys like queens, and the women like 🗑️.

i can’t STAND sinister 😭 get him tf offfff the island STAT 🥾🏝️

intense background checks

amaya from s7 says love island background checks are intensive that the production made her pay a ticket from years ago before she entered the villa. i didn’t know they were this strict lol. also this makes me wonder how they missed titi’s restraining orders because apparently she has two restraining orders.

People makes excuses for Kenzie because of Sincere

Honestly I have never watched love Island before this season and i’m loving it. I love analyzing how they act and cringing out and I’m just extremely invested in so many of the cast especially the girls.

I used to like Kenzie and felt so sympathetic towards her after the first couple episodes but she lost me due to how she treated Kaleb. I think her behavior is real horrible but the reason I still don’t hate on her, is because she’s not in any way worse than Sincere and he is kinda getting away with his shit. It’s so unfair because if the cast were 100% honest they would’ve dumped Mel&Sincere and Kenzie&Dylan from the Island, because neither Kenzie nor Sincere are clearly able to have any type of integrity. and because the guys get away with their bullshit (Melanie you better need that money BAD and not share it with Sincere ISTG) i kinda feel like its sexist how ecefyone hates on Kenzie. Not because she doesn’t deserve it, but because singling her out isn’t fair.

Parmida hot take

On every post I see about Parmida, I see 15 people in the comments saying how calling her Parmesan is racist, and truthfully I do not see how.

I understand that she is ethnic, and calling her something that has no relation to her actions at all can seem weird, but I really don’t understand it.

Can somebody educate me on how an autocorrect issue, (sometimes), is racist and not just a nick name for her?

I will not be hearing anybody out if they reply to this meanly, I’m expressing how I truly do not understand it, and I’m not gonna hear anyone out that isn’t respectful.

The Concern of the Sincerity of It All

This could be extremely unpopular, and if it is, so be it. But there are one of two things (if not both) happening here. (1) Melanie is suffering from former fat girl syndrome and thinks this is the best she can get (obvi false - I mean…look at her, but we can’t see the internal turmoil); and/or (2) she and sincere knew each other before the villa…there were several conversations in the first 2 weeks that gave me pause, but I’m too lazy to go back and look exactly - so you analysts need to help. But, either way, something is broiling behind the scenes.

Melanie and Aniya should switch partners.

Sincere shows a lot of respect to Aniya. Their conversations are very open and natural, which makes u think thats why she likes him so much for Melanie.
He would be open and comfort Aniya. She always rides very hard for him. Aniya is always by his side and trying to understand his feelings. Shes always invested in why he does something so they might as well l just be in a couple. I have not seen her this genuinely invested in carl just relieved tbh.

I think carl would make melanie very happy and secure. Her humor and conversations would make both of them feel good.Melanie was always the dominant one in the sincere relationship and it just looked so off.

I think in a week with these couples they would look wayy better, but they’re to attached after weeks instead of trying to find the best connection.

Corbin = Rob

I am 100% calling it that Corbin and Parmesan never talk again after their love island experience ends.

The same way Rob never talked to Andrea after he left the island, Corbin will be doing the same.

Let’s not forget how Parmida told Corbin about her DMing him on instagram, and they talked, to which he ghosted her. And she really thinks they’re going to stay together after the villa smh 🤦‍♀️.

With all of the people hitting up Corbin after he leaves, him and Parmida are def not staying together.

Downhill From Here!-ep 27 review/thoughts

I had a feeling that after movie night, this season would start to fall flat and i have been proven right. i love the vids on tt of reviews so here is mine!

**im beyond glad kc n aniya hashed shit out, fuck him still but that was mature and it was getting boring

~galllllll🙄 the runaround w jen and all this “negative” like she fr was yelling in his face whole time she just also wants nothing to do w u and talks shit w her girls. im confused on why he seems pressed and i would love this explained… now am i reaching for being annoyed amora threw jen under the bus to get picked😏 im sorry jen had every right to bitch and amora knew what she was doing, hated that behavior. ALSOO unless im missing something but as sad/mad jen was to be leaving like this- she never begged gal to pick her so. hate him.

~jaiden escalated that shit w caleb. he admitted (to us) that he is guarded and honestly i get it. she couldve approached way gentler and sorted the whole thing out. caleb needs to work on his game fs😅 but he seems really genuine and not willing to put on a front which is respectable

~kayda and aniya hyping up sincere was truly spine chilling, these girls arent being fed enough surely?? he made breakfast and put out petals PLZZZZ💀

~mel: I fully believe when the girls were talking and asked “what her heart wanted” (ik im reaching but I'm putting myself in her shoes lol) i feel like her heart knows he is a piece of shit, words mean shit and she needs to let go. but then thats it for her love island experience and shes got everyone around her telling HER to “be open” to him🤬🤬🤬 i know im not the only one thinking like this

~dylan is performative and i 100% agree w mel that kenz settled, he got intense and she felt pressured. their next outta there😘

~corbin talking his shit to sincere was respectable asf and for some reason that made me hate this whole cast bc like ?? why is he making the most sense in this place🫪🫪

~the casa girls annoy me but yk what imma a sucker for a grouplove moment and their goodbye actually kinda moved me?? i just love my girlfriends and know i would be them if i was dumped for sure🤏🏾

bottom six according to last week’s ratings

cosmopolitan published an article and described the cast based on their ratings. i’m sure the ratings won’t change after movie night. these six are not touching the 100K. Both the media and the public don’t like them. also kayda and melanie will not win as zach and sincere are not liked by the public. wish kayda and melanie chose the casa guys but it is what it is.

People need to back off with Melanie/sincere

It’s actually pissing me off so much that people in the villa are telling Melanie that sincere cares about her…she was his first pick…he actually really likes her and just doesn’t express it well. If she forgives him I will actually be so mad like he is a liar!!!! It doesn’t matter that he’s exploring new people but it’s the way he’s moving and what he’s telling everyone. I am honestly disgusted by him and his behaviour and I feel like Bryce and Aniya are gaslighting Melanie

Am I crazy or wasn’t there more doors?

They said there were 10 doors but it looks like they only showed 7 clips. did they just cut the videos from the other 3 doors or did they just not get to them and just ended it?

Unpopular Opinions w nuance and kindness

This will get downvoted to hell and be a breeding ground for the unkindess that runs rampant in this and every other forum but still I rise (lol).

  1. Trinity and Bryce aren't buzzy.
To quote Maura, it's not giving me fanny flutters. Perhaps it's the knowledge that Bryce has only ever had Trinity choose him (no one else wanted him) or the fact that the relationship is doomed to fail by the simple fact that Trinity is a 22 year old from Newport News who hasn't seen the world and Bryce is a 30 year old failing DJ (he could be great, haven't heard a set by him but the DJ world is oversaturated rn) "handyman" who got in because in his 20s he was a tumblr Abercrombie-esque model but the expiration date on that is fast approaching and that's okay. Carniya is buzzy and fun!

  2. Bryce, in part due to his age, is acutely aware (especially as the days go on) he is on TV which is why he stopped having those gameplayer/gossipy conversations with Zach. I do think his age gives him the ability to be more nuanced which is why he defends the boys, the problem is he doesn't defend Trinity that way if anything but I feel that problem is quite layered!

  3. Zach is getting away with quite a lot more than any other Black islander because he is white (possibly a producer plant too). Pulling Sincere calling them all beloved (common pet name and most people have a common pet name they call partners) and lining that up for movie night -i.e. getting into the minutiae for Sincere but not playing Zach literally sewing seeds of doubt into every couple for weeks is odd

4. (Most contro by far) Kenzie and Sincere are the only ones doing love island right.
Everybody is playing it safe! You are supposed to crack on with the new bombshells, hell! you can even kiss them to see if there is something there. I'm not mad at them for jumping right in (they only have 6 weeks!), they 1000% could've done it better (see: honesty) but everyone was settled into their couple from jump almost because they are scared to go home or are scared of what will happen to their influencer career outside the villa if they are honest (and the way fans act, I DO NOT BLAME THEM!). You all want regular people on love island and when they do regular people things (20 somethings mind you!) like lie so they don't have to deal with fallout or be lustful, you all nail them to the cross and start hate campaigns.

  1. None of the boys who explored were wrong for how they moved in Casa, the problem was the disrespect and comparing the Casa girls to the OG girls. The girls did themselves a disservice not kissing the Casa boys but I understand why they didn't.
I don't care that the guys kissed and cuddled the girls in Casa. You have 4 days to figure out if you will bring this person back and get to know them further in comparison to the 2-3 weeks that they have to get to know the person in the villa. I too would be kissing and cuddling because I have to speed run to see if this is something worth continuing and I only have a small amount of time to do so. Truth be told the main reason the villa girls didn't kiss or do more is because they were almost completely closed off from exploration (also wanted to be able to say "I only kissed x amount of times or within challenges" to hold over the boys heads). They did themselves a disservice in not exploring because if those guys were better (most of them weren't! clout chasers, the lot of them) now you'll never know! But on a different perspective, I understand why they didn't when the audience turned on Mel (not really turned because everyone already had an issue with her for "give me 10" when she literally did nothing lol) for going back and forth between Corbin and Sincere in a CHALLENGE (and sue me but it was fun!!!). All this to say yes the girls feelings were hurt but their feelings were hurt more because they didn't explore which is in part their own fault for shorting themselves of the experience. I don't think Sincere was wrong for how he moved in Casa 🤷🏽‍♀️

TL,DR;

  1. Trinity and Bryce are kinda boring and have been from the start
  2. Bryce is 30 and is more nuanced but also smarter about being on tv
  3. Zach is getting away with a lot because he's white
  4. Kenzie and Sincere aren't that bad and if anything are doing love island right, outside of the lies but I also understand why they lie given the fallout
  5. The boys were right to explore in Casa and the girls did themselves a disservice in being overly closed off. I'm not mad at how Sincere moved in casa!

Fin!

Question about the show

Has anyone went on Love Island with the sole intention to be a total bellend and just cheat left and right and play people just to cause drama and be the villain and not care whatsoever? I get that they’d probably be voted out… but would they? They’d be the most entertaining part of the show, but this is coming from a male who personally has no interest in the “love” aspect of it as I just see it as people coupling up for social media engagement anyway. It would make things hilarious at least.

kc and the bare minimum

i’m seeing post all over tiktok and twitter saying things like “kc apologized to aniya, he is my client again” or “he apologized and his stocks went up tonight” or “kc deserves his flowers for apologizing”, etc… why is he getting praised for apologizing? that’s the bare minimum lol. also i feel like he is not truly sorry because he was defensive and arguing with the girls when they were calling him out after his clips were played. he only apologized to clean up his image because he knows the world has seen the kind of man he is. he would never have apologized if his shit was not shown in 4k. and i’m not saying we should hate kc, i was a fan and rooting for him and aniya but he is disingenuous and egoistic. i don’t like how people are praising him for the bare minimum. i’m just done rooting for him and for all i care, he can go home. what do you think?

Thoughts on Movie Night Pt.1

What’s everyone thinking after tonight’s episode & what clips do you think are going to be shown in part 2 other than Kenzie and Sincere.

reddit.com
u/Foreign-Set-279 — 3 days ago

My FULL thoughts on movie night (Previously deleted; now added with edits.)

To start off, yes this is a re-upload, you probably have seen this before. Had to delete the first post despite how popular it was due to some crashing.

My new takes start from number 10.

  1. Zach definitely thought of bringing back that Angel girl. The moment they got the movie night message, he followed Kayda around and had lots of confessions. That’s the action of a guilty man.

Edit: Zach got off too easily, hence to why he can still lie to Kayda. He made it seem like he had the option, why lie about this? Yet, somehow when spoken to Kayda, he managed to get it brushed off.

He has specifically told her “ I could’ve brought someone back, but I didn’t”…. Why lie?
Also said “ I’ve never fell so fast” when it came to Angel. Producers should’ve played that clip, and the times he spoke crap about Trinity to Bryce.

  1. The guys knows what KC has done to Aniya goes beyond “exploring”. They know that KC was disrespectful. They just refuse to acknowledge it by tone policing the girls, and to smoothe out their bad behavior.

Edit: I TOLD YOU GUYS ABOUT THIS, and some tried to argue that KC wasn’t disrespectful and he did nothing wrong. The man himself admitted to his built up resentment . Even said that Aniya did explore but never called him out of his name.

  1. I finally understand why Mela keeps going back to Sincere. Despite the obvious anxious attachment, she’s hyper aware that she’s in a villa playing the Love Island game. Despite all of the lies, Sincere’s actions count as “exploring” rather than “cheating “ as it would in the real world. That’s why she keeps saying “ Fix it”. She doesn’t want to seem possessive in the villa.

  2. The girls rally behind Aniya too much, it makes her seem weak. They need to let Aniya and KC speak uninterrupted. Until they learn to stop doing so, this will keep being a problem.

Edit: Now I’m thinking, had the girls not ganged up on him, would KC come to realization and apologize? Because the boys defended him with bunch of bs excuses and is currently doing this for Sincere.

  1. Bryce lost me, something about how he lets the guys talk to Trinity makes me uncomfortable. I can’t put my fingers on it. At first I thought he was just being peaceful, but he always sides with the guys BS. There’s no way your boys are always right. Since he sides with those BS too, it makes me question him.

EDIT: I told you guys this and people said it was a bad take, tried to make it all about Trinity. Now look at him defending Sincere!

Not even Mela’s worst enemies would recommend her to stay with Sincere. Seriously, WTF, I’m even more suspicious of him. There’s NOTHING about Sincere to defend, they’re breaking Melanie down—despite her own decisions.

  1. Titi is calculated and Aniya is naive, her saying “ You guys told me KC’s been happy, so you’re not surprised”, was a silent praise to herself. Aniya saying “thank you” and genuinely believing Titi made me cringe.

  2. Trinity has it out for KC because she feels guilty or betrayed. When Aniya was questioning being a placeholder, she was the one who defended KC. I also think the comment KC made about Brinity still annoys her because it’s left unanswered.

  3. KC saying he didn’t console Aniya because the girls attacked Titi is a plain lie. The entire argument they had with Titi was “I’m not talking to you”, a literal exclusion from their problem with him. Once again, the girls explained this to Titi after the firepit recoupling. He had the chance to talk to Aniya but instead laughed.

  4. Aniya shouldn’t have stood up and walked over to KC. It just raised animosity. Then again, why was KC standing up? It feels like ping pong with these two.

Edit: Once again, Aniya herself admitted to her wrongdoing. Even KC admitted himself he shouldn’t have stood up either. Showing you can call out both parties, some of you guys choose to demonize either one.

New takes

  1. Melanie and Sincere need to go, I will miss her on my screen but she has to go home for her Psyche. I’m tired of Sincere lying ass and do not care if he has “people pleasers” tendencies. Which annoys me to my core, people pleasers do not please anyone.

Also, he tried to deflect by saying Mela did something similar to Corbin. Meanwhile, Corbin himself is confused. Sincere has the tendency to point the finger when called out on his BS. He did the same with Sol by saying “ you’re not an angel either”.

  1. Aniya is the real people pleaser, learned nothing from the KC situation and the only reason she’s currently with Carl is because America shoved him into her arms.

Once again with that terrible advice, why? Give Sincere a chance? Yes, Mela does unfortunately look dumb. She did this multiple times before, remember her advising Melanie to interrupt Sol’s and Sincere’s talk, then changing her mind once everyone was against it?

After Aniya got away from KC, who made her break down, why would she want a friend to stay in a similar but much worse relationship?

  1. Kenzie did not want to stop exploring, that girl was having her fun and love island was the perfect opportunity to do so without real life repercussions. I truly believe she felt guilty though.

It also warmed my heart seeing Titi hug her.

  1. Dylan is kind of dumb and got attached too fast. Sorry to say it, but Kenzie is a major red flag, nothing wrong with exploring but always being in a love triangle is bad.

He made out with her the same night and it was nothing special, as Kenzie said “ kisses are just handshakes”.Then again, why is Dylan so emotionally impacted from 3-6 days? The avoidant in me would run.

  1. JEN,Trinity, Carl, Caleb and maybe Kayda are the only people in that villa that give nuanced and good advice. The others coddle their friends too much and are too biased.

  2. Movie night was definitely longer, and probably had some silly clips. If not, I’m surprised they didn’t show Brinity’s love story. They were quite literally crying for each other.

  3. I am not mad at Corbin, for some reason I find him hilarious. It has to be because he owned up to his mistakes and was one of the first to apologize to Kenzie before movie night. Him and Parmida are actually a robot love match. Still need them to leave my screen though.

  4. Jen was absolutely adorable with her glasses and slippers. She may not be in a real couple or too entertaining, but she’s my fave. I love her don’t care attitude and her boldness to call out Kenzie.

I’m not with Bryce telling Melanie everything will be okay with UnSincere. Bryce was excusing his behavior. I’m really tired of people excusing his behavior and telling Melanie everything will be okay. It’s very toxic behavior all around.
