I’m wondering if a M2452 keyboard would turn on a Mac mini with the built in keyboard power button. Can someone test my idea. Thank you🖤

So I have this portable computer I can't find anything about it online I'm guessing it's really rare nothing on eBay or YouTube either

For those who want to restore a Macintosh Plus and are looking for a solution to replace the internal 4.5V battery with one that's practically impossible to find these days, I got a battery pack on AliExpress that holds three 1.5V LR44 batteries, so it has a 4.5V output. Given their small size, I was able to use two packs in parallel to increase capacity. The size is perfect. A little self-adhesive foam fills the gaps nicely and ensures a snug fit.

In short, there are probably other solutions; mine cost less than $10. 

Finally got the battery out and gave it a test wouldn’t you know it works better than expected no tunnel effect at all left it for like 15 minutes

Has games and stuff from previous owner but this cool desktop pet that’s pikachu haha

Hello! I’m a proud owner of a Portrait Display and I was wondering if the attached image is just due to the incompatibility with the Mac LC I or if there’s something wrong with the monitor. The LC works perfectly fine with other monitors.

(EDIT) I just bought an LC III so hopefully this issue will be resolved, and I can finally get this oddity working.

So I’m not a Mac collector but I was curious so I got these from a local collector a couple PowerBook 5300s (Ik those are not well liked lol) and a PowerBook 180!

Got all the batteries out and they all look good just a little bit of corrosion and no damage to my knowing.

Only have ac adapters for the 180 so I’ll have to get one for the 5300. Took me ages to get the 180s battery out lol finally got it out tonight so gonna hook it up tomorrow and hopefully it works

Hi, I would like to replicate the thing in the video with my own mac, and to do that I must force it to kernel panic and repeatedly restart to get it hot enough to make it work again. However, my Mac has absolutely nothing coming on the display (some signs of life like sounds but nothing on display), and I was wondering would I be able to make a bootable SSD on another Mac and try delete some key files to force the MacBook into the boot loop? Thank you!

Got some boards today so time to recap and test:)

First board a iivx i needed to replace a battery bombed board. Recapped with organic polymer caps. Now i have a complete iivx with a very clean case.

Second board is a iivi. Basically same as above. Just no fpu and slower cpu. Used tantalums on it.

Third board is a 8100/110 ppc 601. Nice board, works perfectly. Recapped with organic polymer caps.

Next projects to restore.
