Initially it was around 4-5 months on average and now i believe it's down to 1-2 months. What do you think? And recent deliver takers how much was yours?

Honestly I dint expect this from the xuv 7xo it has been 4 months since we took delivery of ours and currently we already know 5 people with xuv 7xo ax7L diesel when we had our Xuv 500 we only knew one other person and we had the car for 8years.Evertime I step out to go around 1-2 km I atleast see one 7xo.

Recently booked the AX7L Diesel AT. I'm looking for advice from people with experience on a couple of things.

My use case: Basic commutes over weekends and trips to the office (occasionally in BLR traffic), mostly one day a week. That comes to around 350 km a month. On top of that, I do a few highway trips through the year, totalling 3,500-4,000 km.

I opted for the diesel variant mainly because of the power, ethanol concerns with petrol, and because I'm okay paying the additional upfront cost.

The salesperson actively recommended the petrol variant. They said diesel will have issues if not driven a lot, and shouldn't be left unused for more than 1-2 weeks at a stretch, since the car might not start. I've used a Brezza Diesel AMT for the past 8 years and haven't faced this. The other issue they mentioned was DPF clogging. From what I've read, it doesn't seem like a huge deal if I can do a manual regeneration or take a bit of highway drive over the month.

Now that I've set the context, could someone with experience help with these questions?

1. Will it be an issue for the car if it isn't driven for longer stretches (2 weeks to a month)?
2. DPF clogging: is my understanding correct? With low-distance commutes, will I have to do manual regeneration frequently (weekly/monthly)?

I’m looking for some genuine advice from fellow Mahindra XUV 7XO owners, especially AX owners.
I recently bought the XUV 7XO AX, and I have a few questions:
1️⃣ Rear Camera
My AX variant doesn’t come with a rear camera. Does anyone know when the OEM Mahindra rear camera will be available in the market/showrooms, or how I can get one installed through the Mahindra network?
2️⃣ Versa Wheel Caps
I’m particularly interested in the AX5 Versa wheel caps rather than going for aftermarket alloys.
If anyone with an AX5 is planning to sell or upgrade their wheels and wants to sell the Versa wheel caps, please let me know. I’d be genuinely interested.
Alternatively, does anyone know how I can order the genuine Versa wheel caps separately from Mahindra?
I’m also considering the xuv 700 17-inch AX5 OEM alloy wheels as an alternative, but honestly, I prefer the Versa wheel-cap look.
3️⃣ OEM Modifications – Worth It?
I’ve seen quite a few videos from Jay Auto, Karol Bagh, etc., where they are doing OEM-style upgrades such as:
* Auto-folding ORVMs – around ₹9,500
* Rear wiper + rear defogger – around ₹14,000 including below -:
* Rear windshield replacement with genuine Mahindra glass
* Rear wiper motor installation
* Genuine Mahindra wiring/components
* Seat/leather upgrades
* Ambient lighting
* Rear camera and other AX3-type features
From what I understand, the rear windshield itself is replaced with the genuine Mahindra windshield, and the defogger, wiper motor, etc. are also genuine Mahindra parts.
The reason I specifically went for AX instead of AX3 was the price difference of roughly ₹1.5 lakh. A lot of the AX3 features can apparently be retrofitted for around ₹30–35k (including the camera), which is why I felt AX made more sense for me.
So I’m looking for some real-world advice from people who have already done these modifications:
👉 Are these modifications worth doing?
👉 Any issues with warranty, electronics, wiring or insurance later?
👉 Has anyone faced rattling/noise or water leakage after the rear windshield modification?
👉 Would you recommend doing everything together or only selected upgrades?
👉 And most importantly, is there anything I should NOT modify?
I’m specifically looking at genuine Mahindra/OEM parts, not cheap aftermarket alternatives.
Also, if anyone has Versa wheel caps available for sale, please DM me. I’m genuinely interested. 🙌
