RM24million allegedly involved, RM100k bail - meanwhile Malaysians get stressed over a few thousand ringgit

Datuk Norliza Tajudin is currently facing TWO separate sets of criminal charges, and together they involve allegations concerning MORE THAN RM24 million.

Case 1: RM10.55 million

Norliza was charged together with Tan Sri Dr Mohd Daud Bakar. They r the directors and shareholders of Energy Eco Sdn Bhd. The company had received money from several investors/shareholders for a Shariah-compliant glove manufacturing business. The money was supposed to be used specifically for the operation, construction and expansion of that business.

If guilty, under Section 409 of the Malaysian Penal Code: 2 to 20 years in prison, whipping, and a fine.

Case 2: RM13.40 million

This time under Malaysia's anti-money-laundering legislation. The prosecution is saying that Norliza received or dealt with money that was allegedly proceeds from unlawful activity.

If guilty, up to 15 years jail, plus a fine of at least 5X the value of the proceeds involved, or RM5 million, whichever is higher.

22 years old. Gone too soon. But his final act saved 8 lives. ❤️ his organs were donated, giving eight other people a second chance at life.

Info about organ donation in Malaysia

Malaysia uses an opt-in system. You voluntarily register as an organ donor; you are not automatically considered a donor.

You might wonder who can register

People of all ages can register
If u are under 18, u need permission from your parents/ guardian
No medical examination required
Foreigners in Malaysia also can register

The easiest way now is through MySejahtera.

You can also get information and assistance from the National Transplant Resource Centre (NTRC), Ministry of Health Malaysia.

When someone SAKAU, then all Malaysian bear the cost

PMX said that the alleged financial mismanagement of TH were borne by Malaysians as a whole

> TH had serious financial weaknesses by 2014–17

> 2017 reported RM3.4 billion profit overstated underlying position

> Proper accounting would have produced approx RM1.4 billion loss in 2017

> TH failed to properly recognise various impairments (impairment means value of ur investment < cost of u buy for investment earlier, the losses need to recognised)

> High hibah (similar to interest/ dividend) payments contributed to financial deterioration

> Political considerations influenced some TH decisions

> Multiple investments suffered major losses (close to zero)

> Suspicious transactions/information concealment occurred

> Government rescue involved substantial public resources in 2018

Those major losses investments including FGV, TH Plantations, TH Properties, TH Indo Plantations, Emrail, Trurich, Deru Semangat, TH Marine, Abraj, etc

All the above are findings from RCI

Bank Negara Malaysia gave 5 warnings to the TH, but all IGNORED (buat takau)

Sekian terima kasih

10 Years Wasn’t Enough - Malaysia Accidentally Invented the 10.5-Year Passport

Malaysia proudly introduced the 10-year passport validity option for Malaysians aged 18+ from 1 July 2026.

BUT! The problem arose when someone renewed early.

Malaysia could transfer up to 6 months of remaining validity from the old passport to the new passport. (OVER-SMART)

Eg.

Old passport expires: 1 January 2027
You renew it in July 2026
New passport gets 10 years + remaining 6 months
Printed expiry: around July 2036
Therefore, the passport's validity is 10 years 6 months from the date of issue

Some airlines/immigration systems overseas have rejected or flagged these passports because their systems expect a passport validity period to be no more than 10 years.

Congratulations, Malaysians! You now have a passport with longer validity than everyone else 🙄

BE MORE CAUTIOUS IF YOU ARE GOING TO RENEW YOUR PASSPORT! OTHERWISE, YOUR TRIP WILL BE RUINED!

🌳ForestCity: From Ghost town to Network School Saga and now a “Scam Town” Or the next “Crypto Town”

$100bn mega-project done by Chinese developers, Country Garden, as "a dream paradise for all mankind" in 2016.

Suppose to house about 700k residents but a decade later only archived less than 1% of residency.

Do u think it’s a biggest failed project in Malaysia ?

Will u move there? 🫣 sea view suite weiiii… 🌊

More Malay parents are choosing Chinese schools, Maybe it’s not just about academics…

Chinese education often emphasizes:
Politeness, respect, discipline

Here is the flow:
Respect others → control yourself → work hard on your own → follow responsibilities → maintain harmony

🚨Goodbye SOCAR ! Officially closing on 31 Aug! Anyone else sad to see it go?

As a SOCAR user myself, it’s really convenient and easy to claim petrol

But the last booking experience with Socar it’s pretty terrifying, the interior of the car is super dirty and got cockroach, but in the end manage to contact customer support for a replacement car.

Gonna miss the convenience and flexibility of SOCAR
