look, i really like this school and i do want to graduate here but they’re making it so unnecessarily difficult.

you’re telling me na bawal kami pumasok before 8 am and mag-aral sa library that we paid for and which we need during finals week all because “online schedule” ngayon?

hindi ba informed mga guards na finals week ngayon? was it also necessary na i-point out yung oras nang parang kami pa yung mali dito?

10 am exam ko. i woke up early and commuted during the morning rush hour para lang makakuha ng decent area sa library para makapag-review sa place which i paid for and this is what i get.

mapua, do something right please. i also hope the student council does what they’re elected for and push for better services from the university.

siguro rant nalang or take this as someone who genuinely doesnt know what to do. quizzes namin lagi BB and may lockdown, no going back sa prev questions.

ang unfair lang kasi kami ng friends ko nagaral talaga kami for this, i even asked my batchmate (irreg kami and were still trying to pass DE) if he used any cheating tool/kodigo and sabi niya wala, he answered it honestly. friends ko naman hindi ren, ako hindi ren.

nakakirita seeing this same dude, with his bestfriend ish(?) na kaklase rin namen. both silang nagchcheat with phones, straighup using ai while taking glances kay sir to see if hes looking at them. tas siguro yung cherry on top sa inis ko would be them beeing so casual/FC kay sir after nila sagutan nang mabilis ung quizzes, "iadd kita sir etc etc", "hala sir wag naman ganon HAHAHHA etc etc", and a lot of convo starters WHILE some are finishing their quizzes. ang ingay, sobrang ingay. 2 quizzes na yan, idk lang if pati quiz 1.

nagiisip ako if sabihin ko pa ba kay sir kasi ngl, ang unfair, ung feeling na sobrang UNFAIR na ipapasa nila THAT easy yung subj na ung iba maraming beses nang bumagsak repeatedly. pero on the other hand, nasa isip ko na "isumbong ko pa ba? e kapwa estudyante ako, and alam ko naman ung feeling ng pag lacking sa acads?"

pero kasi sa class, ang ingay nila, they dont listen, and to top it all off, fc sila kay sir during class.

ewan, i just really need thoughts on what to do.

i forgot kung meron but is there an option to save ur acurrent answers sa lockdown blackboard as draft tapos close it and open another C0 exam? like kung mag open and answer ako ng CO1 tapos im stuck, can i save draft or something tapos lipat sa CO2? does anyone remember or know?

Hello, is it possible to ask a professor for a failing grade? I passed but i really don't think I earned it because the professor did a lot to curve it even decreased the passing grade to 60%

Will asking directly work?

Also i cheated on the exam, if I come forward and tell would they give me a singko or suspend me

pwede kaya humingi nalang ng hard copy ng finals instead of doing sa lockdown browser? (mas magiging kampante pa yung proctor na hindi mag ccheat since wala akong something cover for cheatingshhhh). for sure kasalanan nanaman ng student/laptop kapag na disconnect sa “Mapua Wifi” nila.

Fresh grads who become part-time profs at mapua are so weird. Like, why are y'all still here? Did you peak so hard in college that you're having a hard time leaving??

Don't even get me started on those part-timers who graduated na pero may jowa na estudyante pa rin and they still hang out in public like bro, at least have the decency to be discreet about it.

Don't get me wrong -- I'm not trying to shit on people who want to give back to their alma mater, but that's the thing: how can you give back when you barely have any experience at all??

Tapos you act all high and mighty or expect students to suck up to you when you yourself still struggle to find the balance between being a FORMER student of Mapúa and an actual professor.

Hi! ask ko lang sana ano process of transferring out from mapua, im irreg student and ik mahirap lumipat so ang option ko lang is private univs na mas affordable (specifically eyeing olfu val, kasi different course na rin). Ano po mga need irequest and matagal po ba process?

Note: I'm not saying mapua is a bad school ahh, its just that I find it too expensive na talaga tas mag qquarterm pa which dadami pa expenses ng magulang ko and also im already struggling with math subjects in engineering and sayang sa oras and pera pag nag retake ako (which is calc) and narealize ko na not for me talaga ang engineering, im sacrificing both myself and our financial kasi.

Hindi napo ba pwedeng ipaconsult yung grade kopo kahit 69 siya dahil hindi naman ako naka pag pass ng ibang activities?

Balak napo kasi namen mag take today pero dipo namen sure kung ano rereviewhin may mga nagsasabi na puro algebra at trigo daw po totoo pova?

As someone who has ADHD and struggles with time management and organization + I have a hard time understanding the things I learn right away… in other words I’m very slow, very funny of me to think na kakayanin ko yung fast paced system ng Mapúa, and nag take pa ako ng pre-med course (SOHS Dept), but ofcourse I tried… and realized di talaga for me, with the Quarterm coming up soon next semester I think I shouldn’t burden myself more and accept the truth this school isn’t for me, I also struggle to make friends this sy. Well atleast I tried my best and gave my best.

Yes I do take medication.
No I don’t go to therapy.
No I don’t have a tutor. (I really should)

And tbh with the Philippine school system like this… I don’t know if there are any universities/colleges that could cater to my needs, but then again I think not everything should be in “easy” mode since that’s not how it is in the work field, but maybe that’s why I chose Mapùa last year, to test my limits and go beyond what I know is “easy”.
