My first ever set I got was the Covenant Shade Turret, it was a Christmas gift from my grandma, it pretty quickly become one of my favourite toys I had.

Growing up I lived with split parents so I kinda got to experience getting first Megabloks set for a second time. That being the Orange Combat unit, which I found on some random shelf in Home Depot and begged my mom to get for me.

Was lucky enough to grab this almost pristine sealed halo mega bloks set! Not really sure what they usally go for but I figured $60 was a no brainer.

Got a solid line up with the Infinite Spartan Armory Pack with a couple “Extra” Figures ofc. Also took a couple shots with them.

just testing my skills on body armor plus showing the size of a custom blokees velociraptor that is meant to be a scientists. the head of the goat is move able it is from a lego goat got lucky when cutting the head off it came with a hole.

I got some mattel brickshop sets and thought I would share my findings. The warthog is a new solid green color and the wheels are smaller than the ones on the mammoth. So unfortunately not interchangeable with the mammoth. I also got one of the masters of the universe sets for the muzzle flares and explosion parts. The muzzle flares are both bigger and smaller than the originals so they don't work on the standard size weapon barrel pegs. The explosion effects are rubbery and have three small peg holes on top and one large one at the bottom. Here are some images for reference. I hope this helps others determine if the parts are worth getting for custom halo builds.

The recent Halo Campaign Evolved prompted me to dig out my collection after the mess of Halo 5.

That elite is from World of Halo series with paint touch up and panel lining.

Notes:

• Rho 'Barutamee has a new helmet and cape piece and is molded in the same shade of gold as the Warlord from the Scorpion
• Fernando has a new head sculpt that's more accurate and a new piece based on HIS holodisk. His jumpsuit is also molded in a more accurate bluish-grey color now, while the Marine helmet matches his harness.
• Maria-062 is an obscure but badass character who field-tested the same copy of Mk VI armor Chief uses. Her figure uses a combination of different Mk 6 parts to create the most accurate look for the H3 design possible along with a new swappable head for her unhelmeted look
• The red and yellow Grenadier is based on someone's custom Spartan I saw in Xenon's castle since I thought it looked cool af. The Fuel Rod Cannon would be molded in dark purple.
• The Isidor has more accessories than usual to make it as complete as possible but also acts as a 2 in 1 figure.
• The Brute Chieftain is a complete redeco of the Thrallslayer figure from first Halo Heroes concept post I did over a year ago and is meant to be the Chieftain from the Halo Legends episode 'Babysitter'.
