Looking for recommendations of fics where a noble hurts Merlin and Arthur eventually finds out. Doesn’t necessarily have to be merthur. Preferably over 7k words, the longer the better :) bonus points if it’s set when Arthur is king. thanks!

I don’t really know if it’s a prompt or not because I still want to read fics like that BUT EAR ME OUT.
Arthur knows about Merlin magic and all the stuff but he discovers that Merlin is actually vegetarian because his magic allows him to communicate with animals.
Then he realizes why Merlin hated going on hunting trips with him and why he always tried to make him fail. It was because he wanted to save them. So guilt little bit of angst and Arthur to eat less meat because of that.
SO has anyone ever read a fic like that ? I think I’ve only seen one mentioning Merlin as a vegetarian but I can’t remember it

I had this started in an open tab and I never got to finish it. It was a slash fic where Arthur was cursed and basically couldn’t wake up. Merlin is his court sorcerer and goes inside the dream, which is supposed to be so good that Arthur himself won’t want to wake up, and in the dream, he and Arthur are farmers. Arthur struggles to leave the dream but keeps getting distracted, often by Merlin himself.
If anyone knows the name of this or can find it, I would be so, so grateful!! ❤️❤️ (Or has suggestions for anything like it? 👀👀)
Help please! Im looking for a specific fanfic in which Arthur and merlin meet before merlin arriving at camelot - by way of Arthur's spirit being separated from his body after the witch in ep1 tried to burn him after the sleeping spell. It's incomplete (by one chapter I think).

Read this one ages ago and can't find it again. Canon era. The premise is that Arthur gets hit by a spell which puts his physical body into a coma, but his soul/spirit is free to wander around (nobody can see or hear him like this). He follows Merlin around all day like this and eventually, unbeknownst to Merlin, discovers Merlin has magic.
Morgana has a crystal(?) which needs to be broken to return Arthur's soul to his body; Merlin sets off to find it with Arthur following him. Merlin succeeds but runs into trouble. Arthur wakes back up in his own body and immediately rushes off to go save Merlin. Fairly wholesome.
Looking for a Merthur mpreg fic. Morgana magically gets Merlin pregnant, Merlin runs away, Arthur finds him months later peeing behind a tree while heavily pregnant. Morgana attacks, Merlin reveals his magic, gives birth, and Elyan dies because a life must be exchanged for the baby's survival.
Look, I don't remember if it was a Tumblr post or an Ao3 fic but I once read something about Merlin being attacked on one of his secret missions (or was it with Arthur?? I DON'T REMEMBER 😭) The thing is the he hits his head hard or something and now we has trouble processing things, making him slower for him to fullfill his duties as manservant. I think he also had trouble talking.
I don't even remember if I liked it or not but I'M DYING TO KNOW THAT IT WASN'T A PRODUCT OF MY IMAGINATION

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a fic on AO3. It’s in my bookmarks, but is currently listed as “Mystery work”, so I think it might be N16’s.
The plot goes like this: the knights, Arthur and Merlin go out on a hunt and discover a girl who tried to light a fire with magic. They restrain her and are set on taking her to Camelot with them for a trial. Merlin tries to convince Arthur that the girl’s innocent and says something along the lines of “how do you think I know this?”, but that gets him nowhere. So he takes the waterskins, fills them and leaves them at the river, fully intending to leave. Arthur stops him though and they have a quiet conversation about Merlin’s magic.
I loved it and would like to read again, but I can’t seem to remember the name or the author to look for it in the wayback machine
I didn't read that fanfic, I only saw the synopsis while looking for something to read and it caught my attention, but I lost it and wanted to find it back.
What I remember is that Merlin is a spy for Morgause or Nimueh, or maybe both, I don't know. And he goes to Camelot to kill Uther or Arthur. If this sounds familiar to you, let me know.

Ive been looking for a fic i read a while ago but i couldn’t find in my bookmarks.
It was relatively a short fic where arthur was manhandling merlin per usual but merlin i think dislocated his shoulder a while prior and no one knew.
Arthur twisted merlin hand behind his back just playing with him but merlin got hurt and arthur felt soo guilty about it.
If anyone knows it please help ! Or if you have recs of something similar i would appreciate it🤍
I’m looking for stories where Merlin has permanent side effects from protecting Arthur, like he has back problems or joint problems or something, just anything that he has to deal with and affects his life.
I'd love to read some fics in which Arthur for example finds out that the things he throws at Merlin actually leave bruises or that he maybe even gets a concussion. Or that he gets hurt in the stocks from the things they throw at him. Or that Arthur gets really angry about something and then hurts Merlin and then later regrets it.

Does anyone as ever read a fic where Merlin is the one who’s got put under a spell and falls in love with a girl.
Like the Sophia episode but reserved with Arthur being super jealous of them ( and kinda mean with a little bit of angst ). I also like the idea of true love kiss that would free Merlin.

I vaguely remember this mergana fic I read but I can't find it anywhere. Some defining details are:
\- Merlin and Morgana arguinf about how to deal with Uther
\- Kilgarrah drives Uther insane via the voice of Ygraine
\- Ends with Merlin going a bit nuts and killing Kilgarrah, and Merlin and Morgana get banished by Arthur
\- I think there's an epilogue of them returning when Arthur unbans magic??
\- Also, I think I remember Merlin and Morgana creating a whole magic forest via non pg-13 activities???
