Buying a new Meteor 350 – looking for owner advice before I pay
I'm planning to buy a new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 soon. This will be my first new bike, so I want to make sure I don't miss anything or unnecessarily spend money at the dealership.
Would really appreciate advice from people who recently bought a Meteor 350:
Dealer price & discounts – What kind of discount/benefits did you manage to get? Any specific things I should negotiate on?
Insurance – Is it better to take insurance from the dealer or buy it separately? Anything specific I should get (Zero Dep, RSA, Engine Protect, etc.)?
Accessories – Which RE accessories are actually worth buying and which ones are just unnecessary/overpriced?
Dealer tricks/hidden charges – Any charges or add-ons I should specifically watch out for?
Things you wish you knew before buying – Anything you would do differently if you were buying your Meteor again?
Also, if anyone recently bought one , I'd especially appreciate knowing the on-road price and dealer experience.
Thanks! 🙏🏽
Can a beginner learn to ride on a Meteor 350? (Have Activa & car driving experience)

I have been riding an Activa for the past 6–7 years and know how to drive a manual car, so I have good 2-wheeler balance and understand traffic and clutch concepts. However, I have zero experience riding a manual motorcycle with hand clutch and foot gears.
I'm planning to buy a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and learn manual riding directly on it.
Is the ~191 kg weight and clutch setup too difficult to manage as a first geared bike? Can someone with my background handle learning straight on a Meteor 350,
Need suggestions for accessories
Hello guys. It’s been 1.5 years of me owning this beauty, I need y’all to help me with accessories ideas to make my meteor look like a beautiful baddie .
Note- I already have installed the front visor which comes from RE .
20,000 KM full of Fun, Adventure and Memories ✨ 🏍️
Today, I’ve successfully completed 20,000 km on my bike without a crash or any major accident. 🏍️❤️
Yes, this feeling is very special to me. After my family, if there’s anything that’s truly close to my heart, it’s my bike.
It’s been 4.5 years since we’ve been together, and I’m sure I’ll ride this bike until its last stage. Because for me, it’s more than just a bike — it’s a part of my life, my memories, and my journey.
And honestly, if something ever happens on the road, my first thought would probably be, “Is my bike okay?” 😂❤️
Here’s to many more kilometres, memories, and adventures together. 🖤🏍️
Planning to buy CB350 hness, confused between hness and meteor 350.
I'm planning to get my first bike, three bikes are on my mind, CB 350 hness, Meteor 350 and upcoming Triumph Bonneville 400. Please suggest me, I have heard rust issues on Hness, and bad rear suspension on Meteor. Which bike should I go for? Or should I wait for Bonneville.
Thanks
Meteor 350 handlebar upgrade.
Finally pulled the trigger and swapped the stock handlebars on my Meteor 350 for the Goan Classic ape handlebars.
After a few rides, I can honestly say this is how the bike was meant to feel. It finally feels like a proper cruiser. The riding position is spot on, and it gives off that old-school Harley-style vibe I was going for.
Comfort is surprisingly good, even on longer rides.
The upright riding posture feels very natural and relaxed.
On the highway, it almost feels like you're just gliding along.
I was expecting the bike to become harder to handle, but maneuverability is actually better than the stock handlebars. Low-speed riding feels more confident than I expected.
The only downside is that doing a full U-turn takes a little more effort, but it's nowhere near as bad as I imagined.
Took it out on the highway today and it was an absolute joy. Super relaxed, super comfortable.
I've added both before amd after images. What do you guys think?
A Beauty Indeed
In love with her just went on our first long drive drove for around 200 km. The entire drive felt effortless. Also just clocked the first 500km looking forward to see how she handles after the first service.
I replaced the stock mirrors with the bar end mirrors, and replaced the back rest with the oem grab handles. Output is a bobber + roadster look. Just can't take my eyes of her.
