i lost my band 9 and in need of replacement. was thinking of band 9 pro but saw online that band 10 pro will be launch globally. also the redmi watch 6 will coming soon. i have bought band 9 pro for my gf but i dont want mine to be the same as her haha if band 10 pro and redmi watch 6 were to launch soon globally, which to get? normally i use it for casual jog, notifications and step count.

Should I buy the mi band 10 now or wait for the 11? Idk about discounts as both are pretty cheap. I'm only waiting on the 11 hoping that it has significantly better HR tracking, sleep tracking, HRV etc. features than the 10.

Also for those that have the 10, how exactly are you making the best use of the data and metrics you get from your mi band?

Hey guys, I want to know if anyone has experienced the same issue as me.

My mi band 10 sometimes doesn't sync properly with Strava like even though there is gps data on the mi fitness app, it didn't get uploaded to Strava. It happened the first time after I used the treadmill workout once, so I thought maybe it was defaulting to that, so I did a reset on the band. Worked for the last two/three runs then today didn't work again.

Another thing is the workout export feature. I am under the assumption that .tcx files have all the information like heart rate, cadence, calories, etc but nope only the gps stuffs, so pretty much like .gpx files. Then, when you check the start and end time, it is a day in the future wtf. The app has everything correctly, it is only when you export it, then everything is messed up.

I tried emailing xiaomi in hope they can look into this and help me troubleshoot but they gave a general response, saying that make sure the band gets gnss signal before running.

In the meantime, I found a work around for now but perhaps there is a more permanent fix to this.

I think I'm done tbh.

I first had a Mi Band 5 and loved it, it was cheap but weirdly accurate. I feel like something changed in the versions that followed and have had really bad accuracy on 6,7,8 and 10 (I didn't get the 9).

You can argue it's a cheap band so you can't expect the world but what's the point in tracking health if the data is unreliable? I just couldn't get any useful data out of my band 10 so I've bought an Apple Watch, yes it's much more expensive but data accuracy is much better especially the sleep tracking (which I'm very interested in). I think if you just want a smart band for limited notifications, time and a semi accurate step counter then yeah the Xiaomi bands will do.. anything more than that forget it.

I expect downvotes as no one likes an unpopular opinion but it's the truth so go ahead. I'm going to give my 10 away so let me know if you want it..

Since the xiaomi smart band 10pro just launched, does that mean the xiaomi smart band 11 is still a few months away from launching?

Hey everyone, so I am a heavy sleeper and the primary use case for which I wanna buy mi band 9 is that it has vibrating alarms which I hope might wake me up out of my death-like deep sleeps!

Found miband 10 to be too expensive (I am not willing to spend so much... For a primary need of alarms + the other smart features like bluetooth, health tracking stuff being good to have).

Even the band 9 is above 4k (out of budget) in furper or desertcart. In BOE, it is priced at ~3.5k inr but it's out of stock... Had a conversation with a BOE guy, he said xiaomi discontinued it globally?!? and that it won't return on their website...

Just wanna know what are some other options I have now? Any other reliable websites that sell it at decent price? Or maybe I should consider some other band from a different company, one that might be available in my region...
