Assassin’s matchup as a mage

hey how are you guys

I have question, as a mage midlaner , how can i play vs assassins , my initial thought is to try to poke them as much as i can every time they try to last hit , and also to punish their cooldowns , but at lvl 3 i notice i lost hp more than them which result in them all in me lvl 3 , i tried to play safe in the first 3 lvls but the same result every time , all in lvl 3

is there a common rule i have to follow in assassins matchup ? every guide i watch says ' get the push lead ' . i push i recall , either they match my recall or build slow push or freeze , and when i go back to lane 80% i get ganked or dove and i lose 3 wave and im out of the game

i really dont know what to do i lose 100% of my games against assassins , sometimes i dodged when the enemy pick zed , fizz, katarina , etc

Thoughts on "unorthodox" midlane picks like garen, cho gath and gwen?

Lately I've been enjoying playing these weird picks more and more tbh(especially chogath) and I was wondering if it's weird to play that at all

Assassin recommendation

Trying to decide on having another assassin for when Akali is banned. When she’s picked I go Vex cause I played her a bit when I started playing the game some months ago, but I don’t like blinding her, don’t enjoy mages in general.

I’m between Naafiri, Ekko or Diana, also because they’re viable jungle and I need a jungler for autofilled games. I like Ekko the most but I’ve read here that he’s difficult mechanically and I’m set on investing most of my time improving my Akali.

Which one would you choose?

How do you climb out of Bronze?

Been playing for less than a year

https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/HotDiggityDog-6969?queue_type=SOLORANKED

Please don't be rude in the comments, I'm trying to understand how someone can climb out of Bronze. Does having 7-8 cs per min every game make that much of a difference? Do i need to be 20/0 every game to climb into Silver? I'm very ignorant, I don't know what separates a bronze and a silver player. I mostly queue Ahri (I switched to Veigar last game just to get a feel of him in ranked) with support as secondary role. Does having a certain champ in Bronze does make a difference? I'm not looking to get into Gold or Challenger - just Silver at least.

Thank you.

Now that Bastionbreaker is getting a buff, can someone help me compare it with Umbrail?

I mean Umbrail has 60 AD 18 lethality. Bastion breaker has 55 AD 22 lethality. If we ignore the passive or the costs. Can someone tell me which one will do more damage?

I mean how much does 1 lethality result in increase in AD damage?

Ahri has broken every record.

Hello midlaners, i’m sorry if this post of mine is becoming a monthly thing but i think it’s exactly what i’ll do : post it once per month until she gets nerfed.

In 10 years there never has been a champion with 53 wr for 6 months straight, ahri has officially broke every record spending half a year in the top 5 champions with a 10% popularity.

The new balance team is kore focused on revenue and they make changes taking more in consideration the preservation of paying playerbase rather than being neutral and making changes good for the game and the players, this could have been an allegation of mine months ago but now it’s clear as light that ahri, senna and other high skin selling champions are allowed to receive a favourite son treatment and keep being op for long periods of time for no reason.

Now if we throw in there in consideration the fact that ahri is a competitive monster the whole situation gets worse.

I’m sure this post will receive ton of hate since i’m talking negatively about champions that everyone plays but the last think i can do is believe in the goodsense of the community at admitting that things are unfair, i invite everyone to think about locke, the latest champion released; he is definitely overturned and its alright because new release champions often are, he has had 53 wr for a month and everyone suffered, now open your eyes and see that ahri has had the same power and impact of locke but for an unimaginable long periods of time, we got used to her but she is on the same power level.

If you think this is fair, take in consideration the fact that there are entire communities of mains with their champion chained to an ever 49/48 winrate just because their champ is competitive viable (azir, orianna, taliyah, aphelios) this is so unfair towards the mains of unpopular champions

Ahri Basically Has No Flaws

She's ranged but doesn't have a no enter zone bc she's also mid ranged.

She's got wave clear.

Healing.

High dps.

Sustain.

Cc.

Insane mobility.

This champ can do everything and it's kind of insane how this is allowed? I don't see why she should even exist.

Zed.

Emerald mid laner here, and I honestly can't play against this broken champ. I already start picking Riven into it(I was an OTP Riven player in Season 3) just to have a chance.

But as soon as Zed hits level 3, it feels like he has a permanent Electrocute combo. One combo takes away half of my HP, and it feels completely undodgeable.

Can someone explain how to play against Zed and what champions are good picks into him?

What tanks could viably play in mid?

I don’t play mid that often but I can play almost every role to a mediocre level. I’ve noticed most of my games the team comps look kinda bad and it’s mostly due to not having a frontline and that kinda costs me some games.

I’m not a big enough masochist to play in the top lane so I’m looking at the mid lane instead. Galio is kinda the reason I’m making this because I was realized he’s the only recommended tank mid laner.

I enjoy playing him when the team needs a tank but i m curious as to what other stuff works in mid since even stuff like Riven works

(Also I probably won’t reply in the comments but I’ll like and read every one of them)

Adc mid

What makes ADC mids such a massive problem that riot doesn’t allow them. Lucian got reworked to move him out of the midlane. Also for all the issues like “scaling too safely” how do those same problems not apply for mages bot.

I suck

Not gonna make excuses, I’m just bad at the game.

If u were to coach a 43% winrate gold 4 player, who would u tell them to main and who to watch YouTube ?

Willing to main anyone at this point 😭

Why are certain champions safe to main and what does that even mean. What the opposite.

Top lane refugee here, due to the mages and marksman that have taken root in the toplane. I went a few games cho gath mid to secure drakes and noticed that IT IS ALL TRUE. You guys get autofill and aegis so much. So I wanted to understand the lane and pick "safe picks", so I can either safely scale and 1 v 5 or get cs and not feed in order to get carried, then get a fill game for 2x lp and play 2 games on my previous main role(like spearshot said in his recent video) rinse and repeat..

Appreciate any and all help

Tank midlaner

Hi guys,

What do you think of current tank champions that can play midlane? Like Sion, Galio, chogath etc.

Are they good for climbing and in a good spot for mid?

I play a lot of midlane since toplane is not fun atm. Also, any recommendations?

I love Yasuo, but I hate his windwall cause it feels so cheap

I play Ezreal, Nidalee, Lee Sin, Azir, Zoe.

I love playing Yasuo for his e and q, but his windwall makes him feel so cheap because you can just stuff their only cc ability. Like I hate how sometimes the "right" play is to just e through the whole wave and then stat check them. I hate when you can just no-skillshot stat check someone on a champion with loads of mobility. It doesnt feel right.

It actually kinda ruins the champ for me too. And I sometimes feel the same with Azir where you just dash across the entire screen and instantly wipe someone with ult
