Armor and lethality/pen

I am not really sure how to phrase my question but I will try. I have recently started playing jungle again and one thing I noticed is the difference in base stats and mainly armor. Some champions like Akshan are nearly impossible to kill. Now I know some junglers like talon can struggle against even the slightest armor item from enemy but still. Both me and enemy Akshan are fed and same levels. I have 2 items as Kayn while he didn't have armor boots and edge of night and do 0 dmg.

My question is when should I prioritise getting armor penetration from items like serylda, ldr etc. Should I switch up my build path order depending on matchups. I am more familiar with other roles itemisation and don't really get the assassins builds.

Confused about new update

In the later stages of the game when it offers you an augment it also offers you sometimes to upgrade an augment. For example you have all silvers but your dashing is on the last slot. Does this mean if I reroll the upgrade I will get my second augument available for level up or is it purely random?

Also does prismatic egg or poppy have a bug with shardblade? I might make a new post when I rewatch replay about this bug but what happened is. I got prismatic egg first augument while doing stats. When I reached the first free prismatic it disappeared from my slots. Then later on I had selected stats gold augument and it took its place of first augment making prismatic egg disappear

There are a couple of confusing things about the new update but it's hard to judge because game sometimes bugs.

Going from yone to yasuo

I have been otping yasuo for a very long time. While I have success with him I played yone for a few games and can definitely see how he is more reliable as a top laner. Does yone have build variety with items and runes? I know some yones play pd and fleet but I have heard many times that this is yone copying yasuo players and doesn't work well on him.

I also wonder if some things transition from one to the other. Like on yasuo if I build botrk I also buy one extra 250 dagger and selling it later in the game. You can go kraken against squishies and last year you took lifesteal rune into kraken. Now on yasuo it's either omni boots kraken and Doran's bow. Or standard botrk, berserks, shieldbow into ldr/mr

When can you leave adc solo lane

Edit: to clarify I am asking when can adc be completely left solo in lane. I understand roam timers for supports. In some games I prefer to be left alone as vel koz apc on bot and scale with levels as it's my main power. I don't want the support player to stay and share xp if he can't contribute to the lane

I am a vel'koz support player and every once in a while I get adc role in normal games or flex. Not to complain but sometimes I prefer if my support leaves the lane if he is contributing negatively to the lane. I understand that there is just a knowledge gap between us and I am also not the best adc so I don't get toxic. But I am wondering in what cases can the adc be left to solo lane. I like the bonus xp and I have good wave clear. If enemy support matches the roam I can instantly kill the enemy adc as I have level advantage and ap. Or if enemy duo stay in lane they will get over aggressive trying to kill me so I can punish that.

What I understand as a support player is: first you can be away longer from lane if you are securing objectives like voids or sometimes it better to leave the lane and go make plays around the map in cases where you can't play the lane and would get destroyed.

The only issue I see with that is that support becomes "homeless" and either has to leech xp of top or mid or be down in levels. But at the same time I believe most supports look to get level 6 to unlock ultimate and then don't care as much for levels.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. During the past 2 months I have been playing more adc and learning champions like Ashe, smolder and jinx

Big joints

Are big joints a waste of bud? I want to roll an extra large joint today but not sure if I should just make a thick big sized one or do something interesting. What would you guys recommend?

Should I start roaming

I rarely roam. I roam mostly if it's needed to match enemy support or help river fight for example. For context I play vel'koz support. Is roaming necessary or if there is good opportunity it's always better to do it. I understand roam timers and when to come back to my adc but just unsure of the value of it for my champion. Is it always better to help someone if your adc can catch waves safely.

Also what are good roams in your opinion? Securing objectives like voids is definitely up there. Should I treat roams more like jungle ganks but made by support?

Questions about jungle

I am not really sure how to explain what I mean because English is not my first language. But I want to ask how much focus should you put into a role. Is it better to choose one lane and only play for that or if you are able to contribute to each lane it's better. I started playing league as a jungler and above gold I transitioned to support and top. My overall game knowledge has improved a lot so I am a better jungler then I was when I stopped but I am lacking some specific jungle fundamentals knowledge.

Now when I get randomly jungle or someone asks for swap I play champions like Kindred, viego and now trying to learn rengar. I have a very good success on a lot of different types of junglers but with rengar I struggle tremendously. I am able to consistently get ahead. I've had a games where I lost with 9/0/2 score while team scoreboard was 15/12 kills for them. I've lost games where 3 games where I was 24-30 kills with 5-8 deaths. I am not sure if I mess up in the late game teamfights or in the early game. I don't always focus playing for bot side. I look for opportunities while clearing my farm. I am basically wondering if I should pick 1-2 enemy champions and perma snowball on them or if it's better to help get kills on all lanes?

I am aware of concepts like strong side, win conditions for each team but should I be playing only to help win conditions or for example focus only the enemy win condition like a smolder adc, kassadin mid? Should we as a team have gold funnelled only to the carries or it's also important to get your other lanes in advantage?

I just made a post yesterday about runes, I am new to rengar. I have played around 15 games of rengar in total and won only 5-6. My best games are 25/6/5, 22/7/10, 19/5/6. I won only one of those 3 good kda games. I am playing Swiftplay and a lot and the teammates I get are really bad. But at the same time enemy is not good enough that I can't solo win the game. My problems comes from late game teamfights. I have been trying a lot of different things but can't seem to have big impact. I look for picks and even have an idea where to catch enemies alone with r. At best I can pull some play with flash and bush and get 2-3 kills max with ult but after I die. I can't deal with a full enemy team. If I engage and just kill carry and escape without taking damage then I am not as useful until next ult and enemy carry revived. Jumping in to get 2-3 kills feels like a worse choice if team won't do anything while you are dead.

I learned from this sub that you don't need more then ldr for crit or maybe ldr and ie. But I don't feel as strong with lethality. I like collector and 4 items crit and those are the only games I am winning. But that's probably skill issue. I understand the lethality items are just that much more useful

My best example for this is my last game. I was 8/0/1 in early game. Team score was 11-9 for enemy team. I had 4/5 stacks and shutdowns with bounties. While my whole team was bad 2/12/2, 1/7/7, 2/9/3, 1/8/6 end score I finished game myself as 10/5/1. I understand how to get fed in early game but I can't solo even when extremely ahead. I feel like it's easier with other junglers like kha zix evolved e allowing you to leave the fight, viego possessions, kindred r, etc etc.

Maybe I should try out either the out of combat movement speed rune, conqueror to fight longer or continue with first strike/ultimate hunter but build fiendhunters or axiom for more ults.

While I know what most people think of Swiftplay and that's also why team matchups are inconsistent. I do believe that the same mistake I make on swift will be mistakes I will make in ranked.

I stopped playing jungle a while ago because it felt boring. But then I got randomly placed as jungle and decided to try rengar. Following multiple bad decisions by the enemy I got fed in the early game and went to finish the game with 25 5 5. Now I am hooked on learning rengar for that ult one shots.

Questions I have are is Rengar playable into any enemy team comp? I think as a jungler he can always find play to make.

What build and runes do you do? I looked through the sub to find other players asking the same question. I was going electrocute but now see first strike and conqueror are most popular. How do you decide which rune you are playing?

For build I do umbral>hydra>ldr>collector>ie>essence reaver.
But I am not sure where to put edge of night if I need it on the crit build.
I haven't tried lethality but items I think are good in no particular order are: umbral, hydra, cyclo, edge of night, serylda, axiom, youmu.

How do I decide when to go lethality or crit? Should I always follow the same build path or change umbral and hydra on the crit build for other items sometimes?

Okay I know what everyone thinks of ap and I get it. I want to ask what do you think are the easiest and hardest matchups for Ezreal on bot. I believe anything can be situational and with a gap in skills you can play anything. What champions does Ezreal struggle into the most?

I am so glad ap is back. I stopped playing league a while ago because it was boring to me. I was playing only ap Ezreal long before the changes. How is the situation right now? I have seen a lot of people complaining it's not really better now and also see a lot of the builds being statik or mura. While I see the value of statik and wave clearing, does pure ap work? I also don't like the idea of electrocute. I want to have that mid/late game powerful w and e so dark harvest might be better suited.

What do you guys build versus a heavier ap comp or let's say something like fed mid kassadin. I don't really change my build as much. Once in 30-40 games I might get wits end for tenacity. I play yasuo top.

I don't know if riot didn't think of this or if it's intended to work like that. But I was offered to remove an augument to get 2 augument levels. I didn't want to remove any of my auguments but then I looked at the quest. I removed the quest urf but kept the spatula item. This is extremely broken.

Do prismatic shards still show up when buying stat anvils. I did a game of arena because I know 20-80 percent is back. I did good as trundle with max level on all tap dancer, dual wield and lighting strikes but had no omnivamp or lite steal. I I like new stat run how there is no start item, care package , some guest of honor can you give you prismatic anvel or how stats can give you bonus 10 percent. But not buying anything is kinda wild. Maybe at least one item and boots.

What does autofill protected mean? I have always thought it means you get your primary role but now I qued as support top and got support where I was guaranteed for 2 games. What does it really mean and is it also true that if I am assigned on my off role, which in this case is top, even if I dodge the Que I will still get top next champ select. Is this true?

I have played way too much arena and am ashamed to not know this. But does infinity edge make shadowflame dmg stronger? Also does having 500 crit make your force of entropy stronger or it caps at 100.

I play yasuo top mostly in Swiftplay right now because I haven't played ranked in 1 month. My issue is that sometimes I get clapped very hard. I only run lethal tempo with ignite.

My question is should I be recalling if I don't have much to buy or that way I am missing more xp. I usually buy bow dagger and boots, after that it gets a bit harder saving 875 and 900 gold. Should I be recalling to get that sword or stay in lane. I think most of my deaths come from staying to long in lane. I know how to set up recalls I just don't see what that recall will give me if I don't have enough gold

Since two days I started trading with enemy to try to get his ult or flash/ignite. Then recalling to try to come back with ult advantage and ignite.
