Notes:

- GSP and Jones are interchangeable at #1 and #2.

- Silva and Volk are interchangeable at #5 and 6.

- The reason why I have so many fighters on my HM is because there are so many fighters i wanted to include. Also it’s there for people who’s gonna comment “Bro! where’s [insert fighter]!!!! He should be on here!!!!”

- It’s men’s only, so Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko aren’t on here.

- Also UFC only, so no Fedor. Otherwise, he’d be #4-6.

Feel free to give me your opinion. If you think a fighter is too low, too high or if they’re not included and you think they should be, let me know.

could shavkat actually come back the same and how does he match up with islam at 170

shavkats been out forever and tbh its hard to trust anyones cardio and explosiveness after being sidelined for that long. but assuming he actually comes back healthy how does he match up with islam at 170? like ppl call him a grappler bc of his sambo but in the octagon he mostly js hunts for finishes on the feet and scrambles into chokes. if hes a tiny bit slower after the layoff, islams distance management and wrestling entries are gonna be a fucking nightmare for him. how do yall see this going down?

Cheick Kongo delivered one of the most unbelievable comebacks in UFC history when he defeated Pat Barry by a stunning first-round knockout at UFC Live 4 in Pittsburgh on June 26, 2011.

The heavyweight clash started with absolute chaos as Barry landed two crushing right hands that sent Kongo crashing to the canvas twice. Kongo appeared badly hurt, struggling to stay upright as Barry rushed forward with the intention of ending the fight immediately. With Kongo visibly shaken and unable to fully recover, it looked like the referee could step in at any moment to stop the contest.
But in a moment that perfectly captured the unpredictability of heavyweight MMA, Kongo refused to go away. Despite still being on unsteady legs, he found the strength and awareness to fire back with a desperate right hook followed by a perfectly timed uppercut. The counter shots landed cleanly, instantly dropping Barry and turning what appeared to be a certain defeat into a shocking victory.
The knockout came at the 2:39 mark of the opening round and immediately became one of the most memorable moments in UFC history. Kongo's incredible toughness, composure under extreme pressure, and ability to change the outcome of a fight in a single second served as a powerful reminder of why heavyweight bouts are among the most unpredictable and exciting spectacles in combat sports.

What makes the sequence so impressive is the deception behind it. Rountree wasn’t simply throwing strikes, he was using feints, timing, and movement to manipulate Hill’s reactions. Sometimes the strangest-looking attacks are actually the smartest setups.

The best fighters aren't always the ones throwing the hardest shots they're the ones who can make their opponents react before the real attack even arrives.
