What makes the sequence so impressive is the deception behind it. Rountree wasn’t simply throwing strikes, he was using feints, timing, and movement to manipulate Hill’s reactions. Sometimes the strangest-looking attacks are actually the smartest setups.

Daniel Rodriguez has one of the more interesting careers in the current welterweight scene.

He got his shot in the contender series at 33 years old which has to be close to some record of the oldest considering there aren't too many 33 year old up and coming fighters that make it there. He went 7-1 in his first two years in the UFC, fighting 4 times in 2020, 3 times in 2021, and 2 times in 2022. He turns 40 years old this year and is on a 3 fight win streak against some great competition. D-Rod has only been knocked out once in his pro career from Ian Garry and has only been subbed once from Neil Magny. Uros Medic on the other hand has yet to fight to a decision in his entire pro MMA career.

July 6, 2013 - UFC 162: Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman

MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas. Chris Weidman knocked out Anderson Silva in the second round and became the UFC middleweight champion. This is one of the most shocking moments in UFC history: Silva was a symbol of an era - he toyed with his opponents, provoked them, and felt invincible - until he was hit with a left hook that ended not only the fight but an entire dynasty.
