The President needs to stop investing money on horrible looking buildings that dont even match the university’s layout and focus on renovating Dickson, Life Hall etc.

On top of that, they spent thousands of dollars towards the football locker room for no apparent reason. That team is D3 and hasnt won anything since ages.

Like you’re telling me that OUR tuition was increased like crazy because you wasted money on stupid shit like this??

Ok so I’m a junior in high school and really thinking about colleges. It was my dream to go to college in New York but it was far too expensive to be able to attend a college in NYC, and the cheaper ones didn’t have guaranteed housing. Then I heard about Montclair state and I thought it sounded perfect. It’s affordable, easy to get into (I have a 3.85 gpa rn) and only 12 miles from NYC with a train on campus. So is it realistic to just hop on over to New York after classes on some days? Or how does that work? And is this a good option for someone who wants the NYC experience without the prices. I also heard it’s a commuter school but I would plan to live on campus, and I plan to major in Pysch and Minor in film? Any advice or thoughts would be very helpful and appreciated

Hello, I am a incoming Freshmen student for the Fall semester
Is orientation really a waste of time? I see a lot of comments that orientation should really just be a email
I know that I should get my ID and interact with the students but after lunch is it really necessary to come back?
Can I just leave after I get my ID or go somewhere else?

So I applied for a Sallie Mae loan of about $11,500 for the fall semester only. It's not applied to my bill yet, but I just got a revised Financial Aid email, and it showed that the $11,500 got split for the Fall and spring semesters. I need the full $11,500 for this semester only cause that's how much my bill is. On Sallie Mae's end, I applied for this loan from August 2026 to December 2026, so I don't understand why they're trying to split it. Has anyone had this problem?

First year and im not sure what to expect. Would appreciate if you could share them with me.

Hi everyone ! Today is the last day to pay for fall and I got the student bill by the end of July . Today when I was about to pay I see a big difference (meaning I have to pay more!) I have been trying to call them but there is like 100+ people waiting . Does anyone know if there is any portal where I can go and submit a fafsa correction ? And do u guys recommend me to pay today so I don’t get charge the late fee 😭ugh

Update : I called as soon as they open 8:30 and i was able to talk with a representative . She explained that i need to update my SEI.
U go to ur nest portal > financial aid > financial aid check list > student forms > SEI

I think i’m transferring here this semester but i wanted to know a little more about the parking situation ik a lot of people recommend parking at lot 60 but ive heard from people that it’s a far walk and that the shuttles hardly come? is that true

Anyone else’s financial aid offer not even applied at all to their bill for fall? Mine is just completely incorrect currently.

I think someone asked something similar but I wanted to confirm. I know you can't bring the scooter inside, but do people often leave it charged outside locked up or nah?
