POST GAME - Treasure Pleasure #1

Hail Clan,

Three scallywags and I had our campaign launch last night. A four player "Lost Prince" scenario with Reiklanders, Skaven, Witch Hunters and my Dwarven Treasure Hunters. It was an absolute slobberknocker! and tonnes of fun.

Here's my current roster;

The Dunbar Garrison

  • Noble (85) - Brace Pistols (20), helmet (10) spear (10), sheild (5) = 130
  • Engineer (50) - Brace Pistols (20), helmet (10), hammer (3), sheild (5) = 88
  • Slayer (50) - Sword (10), hammer (3) = 63
  • Slayer (50) - Sword (10), hammer (3) = 63
  • Clansmen (40) - Spear (10) = 50
  • Clansmen (40) - Spear (10) = 50
  • Beardling (25) - Club (3), dagger = 28
  • Beardling (25) - Club (3), dagger = 28

I made away with 65gc, a spare wyrdstone for later, and a Mordheim master map! A very strong start and no deaths!

I'm taking your input as to how and spend my treasure. I'm assuming my gaming group will read this at some point so I'll keep my final decisions to myself. Additionally, I don't know who I'm matched up against next, but it'll be a 1v1.

Be advised that we are using the "Hull House Rules" so blackpowder sale, spears always strike first etc etc.

Rarity and Recruiting rolls are yet to be made, as is the advance on my Engineer.

How would you spend it?

Newb question wound.

Accept that armour save and you've wounded roll say 1 wound is inflicted. Wouldnt a 1w critter be reduce too 0. Because a 2 creature reduce to 1.

And if reduced to zero shouldnt that be unconscious

How come a 1w critter is back to 1w if ST or KD but a 2w is reduced by 1w too 1w.

What does zero mean then, if anything.

Ask this for game played only way to take out a 1w toon was from a OOA roll. The actual no one went to zero

Dual Wielding

Mordheim Warband Question

Hello, me and my buddies want to run out first Mordheim campaign. However, we got stuck on a warband choice. Since we decided to play whatever we like from the available warbands on broheim from 1a-1c. Personally, I am going to go with Vampires. But 3 people from our group want to try different things.

1C Marauders of Chaos, 1B Norsca Explorers and one person actually wants to go with Wood Elves of Athel Loren.

I've got a couple of questions, would be really helpful if someone give an advice. I heard that Shadow Warriors are broken, so isnt Wood Elves pretty much the same thing or they are not that powerful? And also what about Norsca Explorers and Marauders of Chaos? I am just wondering how hard my Vampires will be rekt.

New to the hobby!

Hi! I'm just starting out in Mordheim, at least for now, assembling and kitbashing miniatures. This is my mercenary band; I'm excited to paint them and see them on the tabletop. I also use them for Warcry.

The mercenary "captain" is inspired by Theodore Bruckner.

The "mage," well, a spellcaster, is based on Sir Gideon Ofnir from Elden Ring.

And the archer was just optional for now; maybe I'll get some inspiration from the leader of the Wildecorps.

I don't have any lore yet, but something great will come out of it.

A new campaign at our loxal store.

Last Thursday we started a new campaign at our local store in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Eight people showed up with an amazing list of warbands:

Witch Hunters

Battle Monks of Cathay

Sisters of Sigmar

Black Orcs

Maneaters

Gunnery School of Nuln

Pirates

And one warband I forgot.

I played my old Maneater warband, starting with Captain, Mountain Guide and three Youngbloods. Having to miss one of the youngbloods next game due to a leg wound is gonna be rough, as was the income of only 45gc.
