Making a dragon warrior, since I can't be one

I love fantasy so much... Seriously, dragons, unicorns, faries.... Take my money :D
Now a few days break, and off to a skeleton party blanket (hopefully ready by the Halloween)

My first try

I have been wanting to try mosaic crochet for a few years. This is the first block of a blanket I am making. It will eventually have 18 blocks each representing a place my husband and I have travelled to. I am making my own patterns which is challenging.

My second every mosaic blanket!!

I discovered making blankets this year and I'm obsessed haha, I made this one for my aunt and now the goal is to finish 2 more before Christmas so I can give them as gifts!

Pattern from the Mosaic Overlay Crochet app, they have quite a few there and it made it so easy to make

Backside

Made my first crochet tapestry for my husbands boss and wasn’t sure how the hell everyone makes the backs look so good so I sewed a matching backing on to over all my knots. What should I do in the future to make it have that double sided affect?

Designed and crocheted my first ever mosaic blanket!

Finally uploaded the pattern, so I feel I can post this freely. This was so fun to make, and I'll definitely be making a lot more!

First Mosaic

Thoroughly enjoyed making this blanket. I’m still in shock I made it, lol. It’s a gift for my Dad for Father’s Day. Yes, he was informed that production was slow and he understood, lol.

Mosaic Baby Blanket

Hooked by Kari (Baby Highland Cow) with envelope border enhanced with a scalloped edge.

I’m actually addicted to Mossic crochet. Tho full transparency that I abhorred the envelope border and will only probably do it for baby sized.

I really tried giving knitting a go and was so much more successful this go round but mosaic is so fun! I can count rows, zone out, see progress.

I wanted the image to be a bit more subtle of a pop so did the grey as the cow.

Yarn was loops and thread delicate dk.
