4 years in HrT and hairline has slooowly gotten better but still very thin (especially from the back) so I always wear it up.

Finasteride necessary with perfect E-levels& suppressed T-levels

Hola,
I have E-levels: 155 pg/ml and T- levels: <0,69nmol/l. And have insecurities with my hairline. It was receding before my HRT. I also have thin hair and use 5mg topical minoxidil 1-2/ day. On HRT for 10 months. Do I still need to wait for results? Have some fine hairs growing on my roots. Pic 1 is after 10 months, Pic 2 before HRT. Ignore my facial expressions 😭

Years progress

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my progress. I started finasteride & topical minoxidil last September-ish, and HRT last February (8 months). I also replaced the finasteride with dutasteride last week.

I think I’ve had a lot of success with regrowth so far, more than I could’ve hoped for. Even my poliosis spot & hair (the green circle area) is coming back which I wasn’t expecting but definitely hoping for!

Still a long way to go, but I’m so happy with what I’ve gotten back so far, especially after 12 years of thinning & balding (I’m 30). It makes wearing a wig more tolerable because I know it’ll only be temporary 🙂

Is this an improvement on the temple hairline or am I imagining things? First 2 are now and the 3rd is the 3rd of June this year.

Is There Regrowth?

I'm nearing a month on HRT on E monotherapy, dutasteride 0.5mg, and 2.5mg minoxidil after being on 1mg finnasteride and 1.25mg minoxidil for a year. It did stagnate on the finnasteride around 9 months, but I feel like I see some growth again after a few weeks on hrt or is it just my eyes tricking me?
