I've been on HRT for 13 months now, and here is my progress! I didn't have a ton of hair starting out and I'm really pleased with regrowth so far. I'm hoping for good things from year 2! I'll make a comment with all my meds and stuff.
my full timeline and treatment stack is here
It's been a heck of a journey so far! Once you're on the right meds/levels, take care of yourself, be patient, and keep going! 💜 You can see my full medical stack here.
I made it to a year!! I'm really excited about my progress and cautiously optimistic about the next year. My plan is to wait until the 2 year mark and then assess for FFS & hair transplant.
I've also been learning a lot more about hair care. I'm currently using the curly girl method and co-washing instead of shampooing, and using a leave-in conditioner afterwards.
My hair seems to be some kind of curly/wavy texture with a lot of character and frizz, and I am really excited to learn more about where it will be in a year!
For those just starting out, keep going! :)

Does anyone else have this issue? :x I *can* come from it but it's not like, the full body orgasm that other people talk about.
I don't use lube and use it over my underwear and sometimes with a blanket in between, but... it's just too powerful I think.
I'm planning to get bottom surgery and I'm also circumcised so maybe that's it?
I think... probably anal play is more likely to get me off? maybe in combination? haven't tried yet
I dunno. I cheaped and got the one with only two settings. sometimes it does feel amazing and its like "whoa" and sometimes it really hurts and feels like it tears the skin at the tip, which is more sensitive now.
I'm a year into HRT, I'm on prog every day (rectally), and I feel like I should be able to experience a full body orgasm, but I just haven't.
I have a lot of trauma and psychological work to do around connecting with my body as a woman, so I think that might be it too, but I feel ashamed-- like something is wrong with me or something. it sucks. and that just makes it harder for me to get off! argh
edit: u/Terrible-Swimmer-703 made a really good point!
>Just as a heads up, you need to test your levels and adjust the simulator to your body. I for example need 5 times more E than a friend. Its a great tool but you still need to take blood samples to adjust it.
Hi all, I use these quite frequently and thought I would share!

For more advanced stuff! And a simulation that includes more uncertainty and focus on how bodies vary. There isn't one model that works for all.
I left it some granola and water but unfortunately wasn't able to stay to take care of it!! Does anyone know any local orgs that would be able to help?
After about 1 year on HRT (two more weeks!) I feel like my body has completely changed-- I still look fairly masculine I think?
But... I move different. My center of gravity has shifted lower, I think I've shrunk an inch or so and my butt sticks out more, my back arches more, and my hips/boobs are more prominent.
I've been boofing progesterone since the 9 month mark or so and I think that's been helping too-- the fat distribution to my hips really caught me off guard.
It's so odd to me, I feel like it's so obvious to everyone and yet I feel like I'm still perceived as a man by most people. I don't pass and probably won't for awhile; I just think it'll take time to get there.
But I enjoy the hip-swing that my walk has now, how even my seating posture feels different, and how small/petite I feel, even if it's also really scary to be slowly losing muscle strength and starting to exist in the world differently than I ever have before. At the same time... finally!!
Apologies if this comes off like bragging, I definitely don't intend it that way and I still have a long way to go in my transition, but I'm super excited about this change and curious if anyone else feels the same way?
One more month to get to a year! I'm hopeful-- I am planning to wait until the two year mark to look into hair transplants and am just trying my best to enjoy the ride.
It sure seems to be growing. I get it trimmed at a salon every 4 weeks or so, it seems to be getting pretty curly but it really depends on the day.
It definitely feels like I'm squarely in the awkward stages, but I'm happy to have hair again :)

I was really worried when I started that no hair would grow, so the results have been phenomenal! I'm a bit worried they've slowed down in the past few months, but I'm determined to keep going :)
Much love to you all on your journeys, hopefully this is helpful to others! I feel I have a long way to go but I'm very grateful for the progress so far.
