My disappointing experience with HKRS Bike Point, Mumbra

I wanted to share my personal experience with HKRS Bike Point in Mumbra so that others can make an informed decision.

I sold my bike to them, and after completing the paperwork and handover, ₹7,000 of the agreed amount remained pending. I was assured that the balance payment would be made soon.

However, nearly 2 months passed, and despite multiple calls and messages, I had to constantly follow up for my own money. The experience was extremely stressful and frustrating. At times, I felt like I was literally begging and arguing just to receive the payment that was already due. Dont Deal with this people as they very unprofessional

The attached chat screenshots show some of the conversations regarding the pending amount and repeated assurances of payment.

This is my personal experience, and based on it, I would advise others to be very cautious when dealing on credit or accepting delayed payments. Make sure everything is settled before handing over your vehicle.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Monsoons Are Here... Anyone Up for Small Mumbai Bike Rides?

Mumbai riders, monsoons are almost here and I’ve been wanting to ride more but don’t really have a riding group 😅

I’m pretty much starting out with longer rides and currently ride a Hunter 350. Looking for just a few chill people who’d like to join for small rides initially like early morning rides, breakfast rides, short weekend routes, chai stops, etc.

Not looking for crazy speeds, huge groups, or 500 km rides right away. Just good company, bikes, roads, rain and slowly building up to bigger rides.

If you’re also someone who wants to ride more but doesn’t have people to go with, maybe we can make a small group.

Anyone interested?

Recommendations please, first time buyer.

I'm planning on buying a helmet and a jacket. I have a basic glove while pant and shoes will be later on purchase.

So, please suggest the best and clear my confusion.

  1. Helmet - SMK Typhoon as alternative is Axor apex hunter but people say it's weight management is bad.

  2. Jacket - Axor Cruise 2, Rynox Cypher GT3, Raida Bolt, Scala Blaze. Confused between these 4, I'm from Mumbai so need the best mesh jacket to survive the heat.

Is bikesterglobal a good place to buy them [offline store near me], do they provide competitive pricing and discounts?

Budget for both is approx 5K. I don't have a fancy bike, just a 125cc but wish to go for weekend rides as I love riding.

Your help is much appreciated.

Review of Kawasaki Mumbai

Hey guys, I need your honest review. I'm in the market for an ADV and the Versys 650 is in my shortlist. Seems like a lovely bike but my concern is with Kawasaki showrooms and service. At the Jogeshwari showroom especially, the salespeople seemed utterly uninterested - just whatsapped me a brochure and walked off.

So I was hoping to hear from Kawasaki pwners here - how has your experience with their sales and service been? Any issues with delivery and what is the servicing and parts situation?
