Has dating/approaching girls become harder now, or am I just overthinking it?

I’m genuinely confused about how dating and approaching girls has changed compared to a few years ago.

Earlier, getting into a relationship or approaching a girl didn’t seem like such a complicated thing. Now I sometimes feel like there are so many mixed signals, expectations and unnecessary complications.

There’s a girl in my office whom I found attractive, so I approached her on WhatsApp after joining this new office. She was nice enough to reply and continued the conversation. However, after our first conversation, she didn’t save my number, and thats disrepectful to not save someones number despite having good talk with them, so i decided to never approach her back

At work, she once said something jokingly that I didn’t really like. She realized that I was uncomfortable with it, apologized to me on WhatsApp, and then we didn’t really talk for a day or so.

Interestingly, she approached me again herself after that in office and tried to involve me in something.

Now I’ve started showing interest again, and she also talks to me in office (We dont talk on whatsapp because i never opened her message on whatsapp when she apologized), but I genuinely can’t figure out what this is. I don’t know if she’s interested, just being friendly, or if I’m reading too much into everything.

Is digital marketing becoming a dead-end career in India?

Marketing field feels like a curse. Hello everyone, I have 5 years of work experience and despite being top-rated on Fiverr with a good portfolio, I’ve almost given up on the marketing field and the Indian job market.

Basically, I joined a hospitality company in a senior role with ₹60k in-hand, but the company went bankrupt within 2 weeks. I received my salary 2 months after joining.

Then I joined an education company where I performed really well in terms of results, but the Operations Director gradually turned it into a hardcore sales role with overtime and unrealistic expectations. All the hard work, skipped lunches, and extra effort felt wasted because that’s not the role I had signed up for. The salary there was ₹65k/month.

Now my resume shows one company for 3 months and another for 8 months, and HRs don’t even reply. They don’t know the full story behind those short stints.

At this point, I can’t really take a role below ₹75k in-hand because I know my skills justify that level, and I’ve consistently earned around that range.

Any hope left, or is the market just broken right now?

Could you please share your salary and role at Schbang or some other top agency?

I just wanted to understand the average compensation across diff roles, as online portals show a very broad range. Be transparent, this would be helpful for reference for all people in marketing.
