23M from Mumbai — CA Finalist looking to make some new friends :)

Hey everyone!

23M from Mumbai, India. I’m currently a CA Finalist and will be appearing for my CA Final exams next year.

Most of my life right now revolves around studies, work, the gym, music, and occasionally wondering why I chose CA in the first place. Since CA preparation can get pretty isolating, I’m looking to meet some new people and hopefully make a few genuine friends along the way.

I’m open to talking about pretty much anything — movies/series, music, gym, finance, career, random late-night conversations, memes, or just how life is going.

Would be great to connect with people around my age, but honestly, age isn’t a strict requirement. If you’re from Mumbai, even better — grabbing a coffee or going for a walk sometime sounds much better than endlessly texting.

Feel free to drop a comment

P.S. If you’re also preparing for CA/another competitive exam, we already have something to complain about together.

Cycling / Running at Worli Promenade 🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Hey! I stay in LP and I’m planning to start cycling/running at Worli Promenade post 9 PM on a daily basis. If there’s already a group that does this, or if anyone wants to join me, please let me know! If there isn’t already a group, we can make one 🙂

A little about me: I work at an investment bank, which basically means I spend all day convincing Excel to behave and now need to convince myself to exercise. 😂

Would be great to find some people to join!

Small Group Meetup

Looking to put together a small group of 5-6 people in Mumbai for casual outings, food, activities, or just hanging out and making new friends.

Ideally, it'd be a balanced group with both guys and girls. Nothing complicated, just good vibes and people who are genuinely up for meeting new people.

If you're interested, drop a comment or DM!

Moving to Mumbai to get out of my comfort zone — looking for advice

I’m planning to move to Mumbai by the 17th .
I’m at a point where I feel like I’ve been too comfortable staying in the same environment, so I want to put myself in a completely new situation and figure things out on my own.
My main goals in Mumbai are:
Build a stronger routine and discipline
Work on my freelancing/business and get better clients
Meet ambitious people and expand my network
Learn more about psychology, communication and human behaviour
Start consistently creating content on Instagram and YouTube
Become more independent and improve myself
I’m not moving there with everything figured out. Honestly, part of the reason I’m going is to challenge myself and see what I’m capable of when I don’t have my usual comfort zone around me.
For people who live in Mumbai or have moved there alone:
**What are the biggest things I should know before moving?**
Especially interested in advice about:
Finding affordable accommodation
Areas that are good for someone starting out
Monthly living expenses
Meeting people/networking
Things newcomers usually underestimate
Safety and common mistakes to avoid
I’d genuinely appreciate advice from people who have actually gone through this.
**Mumbai people — what’s one thing you wish someone had told you before you moved here?**

If you are new in a city like Mumbai, what should you learn or do in first let's say 3 months?

Give me all the hacks to survive or even excel in this place.

Looking for work buddies

Hey everyone! 28F here working in tech. Lately, working from the office has become so boring. My team is one of the worst at making plans or doing get-togethers. They come, work, leave. Trying my luck here to find similar ppl looking to bond or hangout during office breaks, we can even plan for after office hangouts if vibes match. Much better if your office is in Marol (as I travel to Marol for work). Please DM or comment here if you're interested :)

Edit: Looking for PPL working in/around Marol to hangout during office breaks or post work hangouts

🌿 Nanemachi Waterfall Trek — 22 August | Saturday

Hey everyone!

I’m planning to do the Nanemachi Waterfall Trek from Mumbai on Saturday, 22 August. I’m going through a travel agency, and they’re providing an AC bus from Mumbai.

💰 Approx. ₹1,500 per person

🚌 AC bus travel included

🍱 Food included

I’m looking for a few people who would like to join, mainly because trekking alone isn’t as fun. We can trek together, help each other out, take some pictures, and enjoy the whole experience. 🌧️🥾

You don’t need to be an experienced trekker—just be comfortable with a moderate trek and ready for a fun day.

If you're interested, DM me and we can coordinate. 🤝🌿

25M Bored out of my mind in Mumbai, need help building a social circle

Okay so this is a bit of a rant/ask. I’ve hit a point where my evenings are just endless doomscrolling and I’m honestly sick of it. The problem is I don’t really have a social circle here. Office is fine but it’s mostly work-mode people, nobody I’d actually hang out with on a weekend.

I’m not looking for anything deep, just some regular people to do stuff with — grab food, catch a game, whatever. How do people actually make friends in this city as an adult? Meetup groups? Sports? Some app I don’t know about? Would appreciate any tips from people who’ve cracked this.

Thanks in advance

30M, new to Mumbai - what should I explore?

Hi everyone! I’m 30M and this is my second weekend in Mumbai. I’m completely new to the city and don’t really know many places or people here yet.

What are some places, activities, or experiences you’d recommend checking out? I’m open to pretty much anything, food, nightlife, exploring, nature, cultural spots, or just interesting things to do on a weekend.

And since I don’t know anyone here yet, I’d also love to hear about any group activities or meetups happening here where I could meet some new people and make friends.

Looking to House-sit in Mumbai

Going out of Mumbai and need someone to temporarily inherit your house? Hi, hello!

I’m looking to house-sit in Mumbai for a few days/weeks/months and would love to keep your home alive while you’re away.

I’m clean, responsible, respectful of people’s spaces, and fully capable of keeping plants alive (the bar is low, but I clear it)

Happy to look after your place, water plants, feed pets if needed, collect deliveries, etc. Ideally looking for a place in **Andheri / Bandra / Juhu / Powai / nearby**, but open to other areas too.

Not looking for a handout or a free holiday, just a mutually useful arrangement. If you’re going away and need someone trustworthy around, feel free to DM me with the **dates + area**!
