Looking for a perfume to gift my GF — ₹5k budget (India)

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for a perfume to gift my girlfriend and could really use some recommendations.

Budget: Up to ₹5,000 INR

Open to: Middle Eastern or Western fragrances

Performance: Ideally a good scent bubble/projection for around 3–4+ hours

Preference: She likes slightly floral, feminine scents, but I don't want something that's purely floral or too mature/heavy.

For reference, she has told me she likes Gucci Flora and Rasasi Hawas. I don't know which exact Gucci Flora she likes, unfortunately.

I'm looking for something that feels romantic, feminine, a little rich/luxurious, and is safe enough as a gift/blind buy.

I'm also completely open to Western perfumes if there's a good option under ₹5k.

What would you recommend?

Especially interested in fragrances that have a noticeable but pleasant scent bubble without being overpowering.

Thanks! ❤️

Is it better to date someone who's very similar to you or someone who's completely different?

I'd love to hear your experiences.

Do relationships work better when both people have similar personalities, interests, values, and lifestyles?

Or is it better when you're very different and balance each other out?

What has worked (or not worked) for you, and why?

Perfect Breakfast Route in Udaipur

I currently live in Mumbai, but Udaipur is my hometown. Every now and then, especially on slow Saturday or Sunday mornings, I get intense cravings for this breakfast run. For me, this is the perfect Udaipur breakfast itinerary.

Start early leave around 7:00-8:00 AM and get everything packed for a picnic by the lake.

First stop: Jain Nashta Centre, Court Chouraha. Grab a plate of poha and a samosa.

Next: Head to Lok Kala Mandal for their vada pav.

Then make your way to Fateh Sagar. Pick up chai from Kamlesh Tea Centre and bread pakodas from Moti Magri.

Now comes the best part. Drive to Rani Road, a little ahead of Panna Vilas, find a nice spot by Fateh Sagar, unpack everything, and enjoy breakfast with one of the best lake views in the city.

After that, stop by Paliwal Kachori for their kachori. If they're not making jalebis that day (which happens sometimes), head to JMB in Sector 11 instead. Their jalebis are thin, crispy, and absolutely worth it.

And if you still have room, finish the morning at Ghanta Ghar with Lala's famous gulab jamun. It's the perfect sweet ending.

That's my ideal Udaipur breakfast route.

Movie trilogy/series that I revisit at least once every year.🎬🍿

For me, it's The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The first time I watched it, I spread it across three days. It was pouring outside the whole time—dark skies, constant rain, and the perfect atmosphere. I watched each film slowly and let it all sink in.

By the time I reached the end, I found myself delaying the finale because finishing it meant leaving that world behind. I didn't want it to end. I wanted to stay in Middle-earth a little longer, to experience more of it.

The filmmaking, the screenplay, Peter Jackson's direction, and the incredible work of the entire team are simply timeless. And the music... it's one of my favourite film scores ever. I still listen to it on slow Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee or while driving through the hills on a road trip.

What's yours?

Looking for a Walking Buddy 🚶

25M, staying in Goregaon West.

Planning to spend the 1st August weekend taking a long walk—wherever you feel like. Marine Drive, Silver Beach, Carter Road, or your favourite spot.

No expectations, just good conversations, chai/coffee if we vibe, and maybe a new friend.

Bonus: I can carry the conversation, the water bottle and an umbrella if it rains. You just have to show up. 😌

If this sounds like your kind of weekend, drop me a DM
