Wir fahren am Wochenende nach München – zwei 24-Jährige (ein Typ und ein Mädchen) – und haben einen Nachmittag plus einen ganzen Tag Zeit, die Stadt zu erkunden. Das BMW Museum und die Motorworld München haben wir beide schon gesehen, also suchen wir diesmal etwas anderes.

Habt ihr gute Empfehlungen für uns? Gerne alles: schöne Stadtviertel, entspannte Spaziergänge, Biergärten, coole Sehenswürdigkeiten, Abendprogramm – alles, was typisch München ist und nicht zu viel Zeit frisst.

Bisher standen auf unserer Liste: Marienplatz, Olympiapark, Englischer Garten und vielleicht ein paar Biergärten – aber wir sind offen für alles, was ihr empfehlen könnt.

Und noch eine Frage zum Schluss: Kann man im Englischen Garten im Fluss dieses Wochenende schwimmen? 👀

Ich bin demnächst in München und da das Wetter sehr gut werden soll, habe ich vor, die bekannte FKK-Kultur in München kennenzulernen. Ich habe vor, gerne verschiedene Spots zu entdecken. Welche könnt ihr empfehlen? Dabei habe ich schon vom Englischen Garten, vom Flaucher und von Orten an der Isar gehört. Da all diese Orte recht groß sind und ich mich schon wo entkleiden will, wo andere FKK machen, würde ich gerne wissen, welche Spots dafür geeignet sind. Gerne natürlich was am Wasser und mit Sonnen- und Schattenplätzen. Bin auch offen für Plätze, auf denen FKK toleriert wird und viele angezogen sind. Das ist mir egal. Wichtiger wäre mir nur, dass ich nicht der Einzige bin und vielleicht auch andere in der jüngeren Kohorte FKK machen. Welche Plätze sind dafür geeignet und könnt ihr mir empfehlen? Was gibt es sonst zu beachten und was sind No-Gos? Wie ist das Klientel so, das FKK betreibt, vom Alter und Geschlecht her? Da meine Freundin sonst eher oben ohne bleibt, wenn Frauen weniger vertreten sind beim FKK. Oben ohne müsste ja überall kein Problem sein, nehme ich an, vor allem an FKK-Plätzen, oder? Hey, my girlfriend and I (both Portuguese) have been in Munich for a bit and want to expand our circle and meet some new international friends. I actually had my birthday last week, so we’re using that as an excuse to get a group together for a picnic and some volleyball this Sunday afternoon.

The plan is pretty simple: find a nice spot in a park (maybe Englisher garten, maybe Westpark), hang out, chat, and play some casual volleyball. You don't need to be good at it at all—most of us will just be trying not to trip over our own feet. We're ideally looking for people around our age group (20s to mid-30s), but we aren't strict about it as long as you're down to chat and meet new people.

If you want to come by, just bring a blanket or towel to sit on and some snacks or drinks to share.

Wie ist der Saunabereich im Müller'sches Volksbad in München? Ich habe gelesen, dass diese sehr klein ist. Ist sie denn trotzdem schön und auch nicht überlaufen. Wie ist das Publikum so? Durchmischt, sprich auch junge Leute oder eher ältere? Da meine Freundin mit will, wäre sie dann eh nicht die einzige Frau? Ich habe gelesen, dass der Rest des Bades kein FKK-Bereich ist, was genau kann man alles nackt genießen? Wie ist die Situation mit den Umkleiden? Google is allowing businesses in Germany to remove reviews by citing defamation laws. This annoys me, just like many other people. Recently, it started to show how many reviews were deleted. I saw people from smaller cities (because there are fewer venues there and it’s easier to collect statistics) doing similar analyses with Excel spreadsheets. So I decided to build an interactive map for big cities and added Munich as well.

The main challenge is collecting information from Google Maps. Google does not allow mass data collection through automated scripts, but there’s nothing stopping someone from doing it manually, so of course...

I did not collect the reviews themselves, only statistical data, specifically the current rating, the number of reviews, and the number of deleted reviews. Google recently started showing approximately how many reviews were removed. For example, Restaurant Pars removed from 201 to 250 reviews.

Based on this data, I decided to calculate the "real" rating of a venue, as if the reviews had never been removed.

How I calculated it:

I used the following formula:

real_score = (current_number_reviews * current_rating + deleted_reviews_estimate) / (current_number_reviews + deleted_reviews_estimate * avg_deleted_rating)

Where:

deleted_reviews_estimate = ((deleted_reviews_max - deleted_reviews_min) / 2) + deleted_reviews_min

deleted_reviews_max = the maximum number of deleted reviews (for Restaurant Pars = 201)

deleted_reviews_min = the minimum number of deleted reviews (for Restaurant Pars = 250)

avg_deleted_rating = 1

This is the approximate average rating of deleted reviews. In other words, I assume that every deleted review was, on average, a 1-star review. That’s probably not entirely accurate, but I think it makes sense to calculate the worst-case scenario.

Example:

Let’s take  Restaurant Pars:

current_rating = 4.8
current_number_reviews = 994
deleted_reviews_estimate = ((250 − 201) / 2) + 201 = 225.5
----
real_score = (994 × 4.8 + 225.5) / (994 + 225.5 × 1) = 4.1

I also created a statistics page to show which places remove the most reviews and which remove the fewest:

I’ll continue updating the map, although it takes a lot of time.

I recently moved to Munich from Berlin a few months ago and am looking for the train nerd community of Munich!

I plan to visit the Verkehrszentrum tomorrow and would be happy to have some fellow train enthusiasts join me. To clarify - I am more on the enthusiast level rather than full committed hobbyist so would be happy to meet people with similar or greater levels of interest.

M30 here looking for a bud to hit the gym from June onwards, probably for Saturday afternoon/evening or early morning, and another day in the week still to decide. I will have my wellpass from then and I will either go to Fitness First Moosach or Body+Soul Munich Nord.

I've never gone to the gym so it would be nice to have a buddy with a bit of experience who can teach me how machines work 😅

Apart from that, I would like to go to the Volksbad Sauna on Wednesday from 16-17 for 1-2 hours(it is near my office, but I also like going to Dante Bad or Michaelibad, I love the warm pools 🤣).
