Hi all, I've been living in Germany for 10 years now, I have a permanent residency here, a steady job and I applied for the citizenship in February 2025, so basically 18 months ago.
I recently discovered I'm pregnant and my due date is March 2027. I'm afraid that if by that time I still don't have my citizenship processed, having the Elterngeld might complicate things. Would that be an issue?
