Elena Greco is a bird and the Neapolitan Novels are the long term effects of life long birdism.
first re watch and comparing scenes to the books since I read them a very long time ago. Got to end of book 3, s3e8 and got pissed off all over again. I remember not liking Lenu from the jump but not being able to fully articulate why. Im sure there's way better analysis but this one is mine: bird behaviour would lead you to ruin.

the scene where lenu walks into the office and its awkward.
