Looks like it's humble pie on the menu for Team South! Lol..

Talking all that shit that I somehow had a feeling would come back to haunt them. Team Australia has shown incredible resiliency and for that, I tip my hat to them. They may not be the most skilled team, but they sure do have a never say quit mentality the Aussies have in them. And that sometimes is more important than raw talent/skill, as they just proved that....

Watching all the seasons for the first time and I’m always screaming when I see someone who drinks water without boiling it first 😫 🙈

I know not everyone gets sick but I just can’t help but get so anxious for these folks who can’t wait to boil and get sick and even more dehydrated than before.

I was wondering, do ya'll think that necklace they all wear has an air tag or tracker in it? Just in case they get lost, wander off or their bodies need recovered? I mean, I would hope they wouldn't need a body recovery, but one never knows.

Trish

She is one of the strongest contestants ever. She. Never. Taps. (until she did on Last One Standing)

How much better could this "Jersey Girl" be if she had an open mind to survivalists that have exponentially more skills and experience than she does?

Shelter, water, fire, food. If making a comfy bed and fishing net are more important than the basic necessities, you have no business out there regardless of how strong you are.

Her ego (and lack of basic Bushcraft skills) holds her back. Did I mention her ego?? Having others collect firewood, improve your shelter, bring home protein, etc. while you weave a mattress and fashion a fishing net... Stay home

Just curious.. whatcha think? So my man the legendary EJ, in S1 E2 and really throughout had many opportunities to procure food, or "feuudd" as he says 😃, and except for him slaying the gator with the Queen of NAA from RI, I don't remember any other kills of substance besides akes, turtles, etc..

Certifiably vile

The whole show she did nothing except catching a fish in a basket, spent her time being a mean spirited, grudge holding, lazy leech and then had the audacity saying "they havent given us the time of day, i mean come on" when asked about sharing a freaking feast with people who bailed her 3 times

Honora was unstable and crazy but she is deliberately a horrible person

If you’d be in NAA, why would you tap?

Like what would be your biggest weakness?

For me it’s 100% sleep. Even in the comfort of my own home I am a bad sleeper, the tiniest noise wakes me up. I’d not get a single minute of sleep out there and it would probably make me tap hella fast.

Brazil or Mexico

So i know 200k is worth way more in Mexico and Brazil than the US. If one of these teams were win, do they still get what's 200k in US currency?

Wondering if anyone knows

No people of color representing any US team on "global" showdown?

Long time lurker, fan of the show for years! I've seen every episode 😆🫣 But my kids and I noticed that there is no diversity in the global cast for teams USA?

We also noticed the same exact thing for the entire cast of apocalypse 🧐

It's a stark difference, because we recently binged the most recent XL, and there was good diversity in that cast.

Just seems off, because not at least trying to cast diverse people to represent such a diverse country seems....not right? It doesn't really seem like a very diverse cast in general, and doesn't really fit the global bill for that, and other reasons IMHO. Idk

I'm not trying to make a thing out of it, but as a person of color myself (mixed black and Korean) my family notices things like this. I know there are plenty people that could fit the bill.

I'm really just curious if anyone else has noticed this?

People who come to mind that fit the bill:

Hakim
Shanika
Shell
Nathan
Joe
Jermaine
Max...

Many more! (This is not an extensive list lol) 😆

The First Asian to Win Naked & Afraid.

Lahu Ughade is the the first Asian winner of NAA. Even though he struggled badly with mental breakdowns and weak teammates in the first 7 days, his brilliantly built raft for final day challenge gets him the trophy. He is a mountaineer and an Everester. Not the most resilient but the most skill full. Well deserved. Top contender form Asia for Global Showdown.

fire responsibility is a very underrated and under appreciated skill on naked & afraid.

tenzi has been instrumental so far keeping the camp warm. lacks camera skills. maybe that’s why he is barely getting the screen time. criminal of Debi and Nitin not to contribute much in helping tenzi keep the fire running.

Question about Teals blur

my wife pointed out that even though teal has a full bra or top she is still blurred. but it’s like a different blur than the other harder blurs of the clearly exposed parts of other contestants.

why would teal be soft blured in her bra when gabbi in her makeshift bra is completely unblurred?
