Comparable game/manga/anime to Monster in terms of ambience, atmosphere, story, and plot

I trully fascinated after watched Monster by everything it gave to me. I never even imagined anime would give me that chill just same as when I watched Mindhunter and True Detective. Do you guys think there is any comparable game/manga/anime to Monster in terms of plot, story, and ambience? Mind you, this is purely bcs I don't know yet so pls don't get offense if u think there is better media than Monster. I recently think Silver Case and The House of the Fatamorgana will do the same, but Idk. I haven't played both. Wdyt?

Do you guys think the entire Hugo/Little girl episode was unrealistic or "pushy"

OK, Alright, given that there is a word limit for title. Admittedly, I couldnt come up with a better title but anyways.

I was discussing this episode(CH 16 in manga and ep 9 in anime) where tenma trains with this instructor and that instructor is the killer of the little girl, living with him, and how it is "disrespectful" for the girl to forgive him just because she met Tenma.

And how Hugo participated in these wars and how he committed egregious crimes and even if he planned to penance by bringing the girl with him, she was in a foreign land with language barrier living with her mother's killer and how its disrespectful the way the episode ends and "naive" to real war victims who were hurt by war.

Now, my point was that Tenma is not just a polite guy. Hes a symbol of purity and hope and his impact is as profound as Johan. Its unrealistic for sure and the message of the episode is to highlight the messiness of human relationships and how forgiving is the only thing they both can do to live a life and how the girl should go to her "nest", even if that nest contains his mother's killer.

Again, Its a beautiful concept for sure but I doubt, in reality, people would love this idea of forgiving your mother's killer.

But anyways what are your thoughts on the episode in general and just the themes?
