Restaurants w/ Live Music Tonight?

Husband and I have a babysitter for tonight and are looking for recommendations for restaurants or bars with live music. Any recommendations?

We live close to Nashua, but aren’t in the area enough to know what’s around.

Small animal euthanasia

I have 2 sweet ASF rats whose times have come and I don’t want them to suffer (they are both geriatric brothers who have both simultaneously started growing tumors and going blind over the past month).
Does anyone know of any small animal vets that will euthanize small guys for a small cost? Preferably not hundreds of dollars per animal…I tried calling a few places, but it was very mentally taxing :(

Thanks ahead of time.

New Resident from Appalachian State

Hi, very excited about this move! I am an RN, looking for a great hospital system with a good ICU. Also, maybe some opinions from locals on food, brews, places to live. No kids, 1 dog. Thanks!

Dispose broken mirror

Hi all, I’m new to the community but my cat had the zoomies and my big, body mirror fell and broke. I live in a condo complex and don’t want to throw it in our dump.
Where can I dispose of it? TYIA

BJs gas DW

That BJs gas station on DW is a cancer. Can’t get into CVS without waiting 5 minutes in traffic. The lines are insane. Are you even saving money going there if you spend all that time idling waiting to get to the pump??

Anyone have any experiences with Sunrun in Nashua?

They are hitting me up pretty hard to add solar and batteries to my house and seem pretty confident that they can give me a $0 electric bill every month, plus a battery backup for the house. They call it their "infrastructure" program where my batteries will feed power back on to the grid at peak usage times.

Has anyone dealt with this company and did they live up to their promises? I don't want to go through all this hassle for a marginal improvement on my already small electric bill, and I'm concerned that they're going to have me paying more somehow.

r/Nashua group icon and banner image solicitation

Someone recently mentioned to me that images of the official seal for Nashua are disallowed for non-official city business.

Granted we've been using it for years but in the interest of being a good netizen I'm going to change it but I wanted to involve the group for image selection

Looking for images for either the group icon or it's banner. Please make it relevant to Nashua and no AI generated photos

Moving to Nashua 25M

Hello, I just signed a new lease and am moving to Nashua in early June to a one bedroom apartment in downtown on Main Street. I would love to make new friends and see what Nashua has to offer. I’m making the move from the southwestern part of the state to get closer to work. I’ve lived in NH since 2019 since I went to Franklin Pierce University.

I’m 25M and am a career firefighter, love Boston sports, and going out for dinner and drinks. Big country music fan and love being on the water during the summers. If you’re interested in getting to know eachother better please reach out, would love to grab a beer and connect once I get situated. Looking forward to moving to Nashua soon!

Rambling House Building for Sale

Although the Rambling House site still refers to the "Temporary Hiatus", there is now a large For Sale sign in the window.

A shame, this was such a nice restaurant, and they had done a fantastic job of renovating the building.

I wonder how long it will now sit empty? It would be great if someone were to buy it and bring a good dining place back, but I can't say I'm overly confident.

Passport with photo at Nashua post office?

I need to make an appointment to get my passport at the Nashua post office. I also need to get my picture taken at the same time during the appointment.

If anyone here has done this recently, would you mind explaining what happens once you arrive?

I have all my forms and copies of everything. My appointment isn't until next week but I just want to be prepared. I did select both photo and passport when I made the appointment

I assume someone will direct me where to go once I enter? Will I get my picture taken before the sit down? I've never even been inside the post office before so I just want to have my ducks in a row

Thanks

Group icon & banner photo

Someone recently mentioned to me that the official city seal photo can only be used for official city business (https://ecode360.com/8729517#31712702). We've used it for years but in the interest of being a good citizen I think we should change it. And while I'm at it, we could use a banner photo

Anyone have anything they think would make a good icon or banner photo?
