Livingroom Floor Plan Help!

Hi, what I originally fell in love with in this living room is now driving me crazy. It feels like the French doors and fireplace and double windows at the bottom are taking up such valuable wall space.

All I really care about right now is couch(es) and TV, and even with just those things I am struggling to make it work!

I have a very modular couch that is 7 32inch square sections. This could result in multiple couches, a big sectional, a sectional and a single one as a chair, one can be an ottoman. Plenty of options.

I will add in comments some of my ideas so far. I think my grey squares representing couch pieces are a little too big / out of scale. One thing is I really don’t want the tv above the fireplace. I think that risks being too high, and this fireplace has a tall mantle above it that will push the tv almost to the ceiling.

Thank you! Any thoughts are great

Hidden Gem / Underrated Restaurants

Hello,

I am moving to Nashua and am having so much fun looking at all the dining options - of all sorts lunch and dinner and coffee and bars, everything! I was wondering if there are any food or drink suggestions that I might not be focused in on based just on scrolling around on Apple Maps and reading reviews.

Example, I can tell that I am going to like peddlers daughter and oddfellows, but how about some of the more *random* places? Example can I actually get a good burger and fries at “smash shack burgers” ? What’s the best junky Chinese take out? There are a million pizza places, what’s your go to? I love a fried chicken sandwich - chicken and biscuit USA? gate city casino looks interesting

Idk. Looking for any suggestions from locals who might have a little more insight than what I can find my zooming around on Apple Maps.

Anything that comes to mind anywhere in Nashua or surrounding towns, let me know! Thanks. Any food or drinks you’ve been to recently and want to give a shout out to, this is the spot

Help Me Figure Out Rehearsal Dinner Tip

Hello, my groom’s parents are paying for our rehearsal dinner. The all in cost is $7000. It is at a small ish restaurant near our wedding venue. We have 40 guests. Dinner and dessert is $100 per person. And we will have an open bar of beer and wine.

The groom’s parents want to know what the appropriate tip should be. The $7000 includes $2475 of venue, staffing, and operational fees. Part of me thinks this should mostly cover a significant gratuity, but I do think it would be appropriate to hand any servers some cash, as I’m worried these fees don’t make their way to the hourly employees. Our interactions with this restaurant haven’t been truly 100% positive so I am hesitant to call and ask if these fees make their way to the servers.

How have other people gone about this? Any advice / thoughts / feedback is helpful. Thank you!

Edit - additional info: the event is 4 hours long

Least Busy Costco?

I live in Woburn and need to do a trip to any Costco tomorrow. I have never been and am a little intimated by 1,000 people doing their weekly/monthly trip mid day on a Sunday. I am willing to drive a good distance for a slightly more relaxing shopping experience. Which Costco should I go to? Any advice helps. Thanks!
