Does the silicone pad replacement come with magnets?

I’ve been having issues with the sensors for a while now. Today I decided to finally give it a full deep clean before I order a new pad.

However during the removal of the pad the magnets both popped out. I put them back in after cleaning and screwed the pad back on but now I get the magnet error on the app and the litter box won’t function.

I saw that I can just order a new replacement pad but I’m not sure if that will fix the magnet error?

Thank you.

Anyone using Neakasa litter box integration?

I have my Neakasa M1 litter box integrated into HA and for the last week or so, it hasn't been able to connect to the cloud server needed. Troubleshooting shows HA can't connect to cn-shanghai.api-iot.aliyuncs.com. It looks like other Neakasa integrations have this server hard coded also.

I'm wondering if it's just me or if other people had their Neakasa integration break recently?

Gratitude Post After Years With LR3

I switched my two Litter-Robot 3s over to Neakasa M1 Lites earlier this year, and I honestly couldn’t be happier.

I had the LR3s for about 4–5 years, and while I had to implement a bunch of little workarounds to avoid issues, they were actually pretty reliable the whole time. My biggest gripe was always how much of a PITA they were to deep clean.

I deep-cleaned both of my M1s earlier today, and the difference is night and day. The LR3 globe wouldn’t even fit through my back door, which was the first headache. On top of that, the way the globe, liner, and litter-separating mechanism are designed creates a ton of little nooks and crannies that are really difficult to clean thoroughly.

With the Neakasa, I just hosed down the globe, gave it a quick scrub, and it was done in about five minutes. Same with the waste drawer. I wiped down the main unit thoroughly, and that was basically it.

I already preferred the M1 overall, but how much easier it is to clean might be one of my favorite things about it. Such a huge quality-of-life improvement.

Hey, my M1 is stuck in this weird position after I cleaned it.

There’s no litter bin in it at all right now, so it’s not full nor is the bag blocking the sensors. I wiped the infrared sensors clean.

The weird thing is that it’s open at the front there. Normally if the bin is “full” it will close in a way that would block anyone from getting it, but right now the dirty litter bin doors are open and the main litter tray thing is backwards essentially. I mean for crying out loud I can see the floor through it!
