Cat tracks litter EVERYWHERE.

Cat tracks litter EVERYWHERE.

I’m using the M1, and we love it. However, my cat is an asshole and seems to track an INSANE amount of litter everywhere.

I need some ideas on how to keep the tracking down.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. Putting a step that collects litter in front of the M1, and a larger litter catching mat. The little asshat just jumped further.

  2. Turning the M1 to face a wall or corner. It just made the litter pile up in the corner.

  3. Current set up: in a cabinet, with a guard, step, and mat inside the cabinet. He’s STILL spreading clay litter around.

I’m about ready to pull my hair out.

What else can I do?

Convince a wife that this is a good idea.

My husband wants to leave his current job (eventually), purchase a box truck, and begin picking up loads on load boards.

My immediate instinct is that this is a huge risk, and with the economy in the state it’s in, the income isn’t guaranteed.

My fear is that we’ll be stuck with a box truck payment and zero income from it. Granted, I own my own business and while it’s not extremely profitable, it does bring in enough to cover my share of our bills.

He currently carries our health insurance since I’m self-employed. He is a supervisor at his current company, but there is little chance for advancement and he is wildly unhappy.

Talk me into it, or him out of it. Tell me all the things i may have missed if it really is a good idea.

We’re in central Texas if it makes a difference in location.

EDIT: I’ve read and upvoted each of your comments. I then sent this post to my husband. I believe it gave him some pause when it became clear there was much more to be learned about this than originally anticipated.

Thank you for all of your feedback! It is very much appreciated!

I do fairly well with alocasias…except frydeks.

Scroll to see just how badly these jerk alocasias behave for me. Both have been in both soil and semi hydro setups. The variegated one is behaving better but the all white leaf (almost) is just…mean. The last photo of the regular frydek is basically it saying it doesn’t want to live anymore. No mushy corm. Just doesn’t want to put out living leaves. 🤷🏻‍♀️
