how to manually optimise this?

in funtouch os, i could manually start optimisation after every monthly update, and it actually made a difference on battery life and overall smoothness.

after origin os 6 tho, i can't seem to just manually optimise it anymore. it just says "auto-optimised". does anyone know if and how i could optimise on my will?

iQOO Neo 10R: Heavy Battery Drain + Camera Stopped Working After Software Update

I am facing heavy battery drain on my iQOO Neo 10R, requiring me to charge the phone frequently. After a recent software update, I have also started facing a serious camera issue. The camera app closes automatically, and other apps are also unable to access the camera.

Neo 10R Wi-Fi causing delayed WhatsApp notifications and calls

Hey guys, is anyone else facing this issue on the iQOO Neo 10R?

Whenever I’m connected to Wi-Fi, WhatsApp messages and calls get delayed. Messages take a long time to deliver, and incoming WhatsApp calls/notifications don’t come through immediately.

The weird part is that mobile data works perfectly fine. As soon as I turn Wi-Fi off, everything starts working normally.

I’ve also noticed that sometimes regular incoming calls/SMS seem to show up late while I’m connected to Wi-Fi.

I’ve tried the usual stuff like restarting the phone and reconnecting to Wi-Fi, but the issue still happens.

Just wanted to know if anyone else with a Neo 10R is experiencing the same thing, especially after a recent software update.

July Update is fu*king the phone

I will get to the straight point:

  1. Unnecessary heating while using simple apps.

  2. Excessive battery drain : like if i get 11hours in funtouch OS, now I'm getting 5-5.5hrs

  3. This is from the since i started using OriginOS: some apps crash while using.

  4. Bought this phone a year ago, dealing and living with this problem , since a day I've installed OriginOS, it looked tempting, trusting a brand fuck man i was in delusion.

  5. Hey man people buy your smartphone of thinking the experience they get , like "hope is a good thing" , no you fuck over times.

  6. I know this brand from the inception at initially to survive in the market they did exceptionally well, now they have become a brand and treating customers like they have given a phone for free.

  7. Like there's a fear, mentally developed among people like they gonna have their phone dead, battery anxiety like all that shit , wtf is this

I am done with these brands: bbk electronics shit phone, xiaomi, i will be jumping now from the platform itself, at least there's consistency and value i get despite the freedom.

Raise your voice, keep posting until they fix this guys, this phone hardware is 🗿atleast the chipset , and this phone now 🤡.

PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT.

I was very disappointed with my phones performance, while gaming wasn't able to maintain constant fps, in bgmi it could only maintain 90 fps if i keep my mini fan turned on. What was most frustrating that even UI feels laggy and it responded longer when try to open an app, gets hot for no reason. I also kept 30 gb of free storage so that it doens't bottleneck performance, as mine is 128gb keeping 30 gb free was very hard for me, but the sad part is it also doesn't help.

But after few online research I come to know about "app background autostart". I had all my apps autostart enabled and it was almost 40 apps that i didn't use much. So i deleted unnecessary apps and disabled autostart for almost every apps except messaging app and now my phone feels like a while new machine. Its opening apps instantly, ui lag gone , less heating and most importantly its maintaining constant 90 fps for hours without any AC or any fan in this summer and with fan its even giving 120 fps in bgmi . Im super impressed now 😁

Has anyone tried this feature?

I recently found out about this ezshare feature where you can shake your phone on home screen, albums this pops up.

I have used it to transfer files and it's really good imo and fast.

If I had known this early the about of trip pics I would I have shared easier 🙂. Using this phone 1.5 years.

Every vivo/iqoo has this, other phones need to install ezshare app.

august update when ffs!? vivo is seriously messed up, atleast in india.

already shit scared of still running on july update, and now these guys aren't even giving us the required fixes in august STILL NOW.

personally my device has been running okay, with noticeable battery drain, but the constant fear of my device turning off and getting stuck on bootloop forever is haunting me. how do they even push such updates?and why haven't they provided back-to-back OTA updates to atleast fix the much more grave issues? a billion-dollar company should have massive amounts of resources to develop stable updates, provide them timely, and ESPECIALLY provide speedy fixes when something is wrong with their software. i get that their main focus is their home country, but then why not provide the global users with a stable experience atleast?they can cut features, model releases for us global users, BUT WHY COMPROMISE ON SOFTWARE STABILITY? it would've just been better if they never went global at all, if such is their bias.

since im now stuck with their device, i can't downgrade as i don't want to and i also am kept waiting, hoping and praying that this company takes such matters seriously and deliver us atleast stability.

Device camera gone ☹️

So after seeing multiple posts, my device camera is gone too today and I didn't even update. Just opened camera randomly and gone. It doesn't open now and none of the basic troubleshooting method is working 😕

My battery used to last atleast 6-7 hours after last update, but now, it lasted 3 freakin hours only screen on time, from 80 to 7% in 3 hours of screen on time.

Helppppp!!

Hey guys thinking to get my phone downgraded to funtouch os 15 , i have neo 10r facing alot of issues , i went to the service centre they said that there is a chance that in the process ur phone can get permanently damaged so it is ur call to downgrade or not , i didnt but now its getting intolerable so can u please suggest me what should i do now i have tried a reset the issues are still not fixed so can anybody tell me should i downgrade or not and whether it will fix my device or not?

Fixed my battery backup issue a bit with a factory reset & hard reset.

Before resetting my phone, the battery only lasted 4 hours to hit 10%. Now, it gets almost 11 hours of use and is still at 20%.
