how to manually optimise this?

in funtouch os, i could manually start optimisation after every monthly update, and it actually made a difference on battery life and overall smoothness.

after origin os 6 tho, i can't seem to just manually optimise it anymore. it just says "auto-optimised". does anyone know if and how i could optimise on my will?

august update when ffs!? vivo is seriously messed up, atleast in india.

already shit scared of still running on july update, and now these guys aren't even giving us the required fixes in august STILL NOW.

personally my device has been running okay, with noticeable battery drain, but the constant fear of my device turning off and getting stuck on bootloop forever is haunting me. how do they even push such updates?and why haven't they provided back-to-back OTA updates to atleast fix the much more grave issues? a billion-dollar company should have massive amounts of resources to develop stable updates, provide them timely, and ESPECIALLY provide speedy fixes when something is wrong with their software. i get that their main focus is their home country, but then why not provide the global users with a stable experience atleast?they can cut features, model releases for us global users, BUT WHY COMPROMISE ON SOFTWARE STABILITY? it would've just been better if they never went global at all, if such is their bias.

since im now stuck with their device, i can't downgrade as i don't want to and i also am kept waiting, hoping and praying that this company takes such matters seriously and deliver us atleast stability.

what's the difference between sysmem and gmem?

as the title says. im using stevenmxz's turnip 26.3.0 driver and i can't understand which is better- sysmem or gmem. primarily asking for winlator emulation but i suppose we can change these in other emulators as well.

july update will probably kill your phone.

so as it turns out, this month's update has been damaging a lot of people's Neo 10R's out there. they've been complaining about it nonstop on X and Reddit and i seriously hope that vivo/iqoo looks into this matter and fixes it in august.

this update seems to be causing a lot of heating, heavily reduced SOT, and the worst case scenario, motherboard failure. i personally am facing just the SOT problem and am genuinely fearing for the life of my device.

all of us, whoever and however, do post and raise your voice about this issue on here and on X, if possible contact them via messages or customer support and urge them to hurry up and pass a patch for Neo 10R because otherwise the worst has a high possibility of happening.

unusual power draw & heating after july update.

this is my Neo 10R, and i found out that after the july update, all my performance cores are running at unusually high clocks even when absolutely nothing is running in the background. my max clock speeds for the performance cores are 2.8ghz, and they're running at almost 2.3ghz the entire time, like why even? when im not doing anything intensive on my device, it's still staying much warmer than before, and when actually playing or emulating games, my device just basically turns into a frying pan. this was not the case with previous updates, and absolutely did not exist on funtouch os.

i don't even know if vivo is trying to cook with their software or cook my device literally atp.

severe battery drain after july update.

even when the update log states that it optimises battery life, in my personal usage the battery life seems to have tanked pretty hard.

on the june update, i used to get about 6-6.5 hrs of SOT, keeping in mind that im a heavy user. gaming, emulation, calls, streaming, i do it all. however, after the july update, i seem to be getting significantly lesser SOT, somewhat around 4+ hrs.

utterly disappointing and really discourages me from using my device heavily, given that i purchased this device just for this exact reason.
