Can someone tell me some good tv shows films and movies

Ever since a kid, our family had never had Netflix. Not because we were poor, because our parents didn't know anything about it, and because we lived in a traditional family. My parents didn't have a bank account, so I never got to see films. now that I'm older, I have my first phone, and I can access it on my phone. But I've never watched any films, so what are your suggestions?

Netflix are the biggest pieces of shit and scumbags on earth!

I can’t even watch it on my fucking phone anymore. If you have Netflix get rid of it now because they are the worst of the worst people on this planet

Why is 'I will find you' so quiet!

Did anyone else notice this?

I saw it was number 1 so thought it must be ok, I'll give it a watch, but I've stopped because it's so quiet I kept missing bits. I might try again at a later date when I'm able to fully commit to reading the subtitles, but for now I've given up, I want something I can watch while I eat my tea or partake in a hobby etc.

Why is it so much quieter than everything else on there?

(No, I don't have a hearing issue!)

Did anyone actually enjoy Unchosen?

I’ve seen a few posts from people who really seemed to like Unchosen and I’d love to understand why. It’s a big misfire for me that feels more like a soap opera than an insight into a hidden part of modern British society.

This show opens with a title card about how there are many cults in the UK that operate in plain sight.

But then the rest of the show doesn’t shed any light on how the cult in depicted in the show is able to subsist, or how they co-exist with the world around them. Instead it’s really about how a psychopath infiltrates their community and causes all kinds of mess.

The cult live in patriarchal system which tbf isn’t that different from the way many communities and families live. There are some extreme forms of punishment and banishment for transgressors or ‘unchosen’.

I checked it out because the cast is so great: Asa Butterfield, Christopher Eccleston, Fra Fee, Siobhan Finneran… but the material is just too limp to give them anything worthwhile to sink their teeth into.

There’s a central performance however that can’t quite match the gravity that many of her scenes require and as a result, so much of Unchosen falls flat.

There are far more intriguing themes the show introduces that could be explored further - internal homophobia, grief, abuse within cults, alcoholism - that ultimately the writing doesn’t have much interest in.

"Suits" was actually a very good show, unfortunately anyone who has problems with corrupt lawyers would easily get triggered by the show.

Overall, I found the Suits TV series to be well written and well acted, but it made lawyers look like scumbags, which most of them are, and anyone whose ever had bad experiences with Lawyers then probably still have post-traumatic-stress disorder and probably would have found the show to be very triggering.

I think, they should do a reboot of "Suits" but this time do it with high-powered Politicians.
