Twitch and YouTube are full of content, so why is it so hard to find something that matches how you actually feel right now ?

I've been watching Twitch and YouTube for years now.

And honestly, finding something that actually matches my mood in the moment is getting harder and harder.

Everything is sorted by game, by trend, by performance. But nothing is sorted by how you personally feel right now.

Some nights I want high energy, hype content. Others I just want something chill to have in the background. And in those moments I can spend ages looking for the right thing ,because the algorithm won't show it to me. The creators that would actually fit my vibe right now exist, they're just buried.

So I wanted to ask :

Does this happen to you too ?

How do you discover new creators ,and what makes you actually stop and watch someone ?

And if tomorrow you could be matched with a creator sharing your exact mood and energy right now, would you use it ?

Hi everyone,

I recently started this channel and this is my first videos. I know you should not aim for your videos to go big but I got like 3 views so I am lacking the audience feedback that I wanted to have in order to level up my skills.

What I already know:

- Voice/commentary still needs work

- I'm experimenting with editing and pacing

What I want feedback on:

  1. Was the pacing too slow or too fast?
  2. Were there any boring or skippable sections?
  3. Is the thumbnail really bad?
  4. What would make you stop watching?

  • 10M+ views in 28 days
  • +24K subscribers in a month
  • ₹4.5 Lakhs estimated monthly revenue
  • 645K+ realtime views in 48 hours 👀

And this is only YouTube AdSense revenue… not including:

  • Sponsorships
  • Brand deals
  • Affiliate income
  • Super chats / memberships
  • Gaming org partnerships

People still think “gaming is not a real career” meanwhile creators are building businesses bigger than startups from just gameplay + personality + consistency.

Why am I not getting any views no more?

Back in April, I've gotten hundreds of views per video because a compilation video was SEO-optimized and that signaled YouTube to try to push my next videos too as much. Lowest one I got was 166 views, highest got to almost 600. Gained 93 watch hours on that. The problem is, I was expecting it to keep the effect longer but it didn't. It still had effect on the first few days of May but then my next videos went back down to my usual views, one got 13 and the other got 2. And then the rest of the views were mine when I was rewatching it on YouTube to help in making my thumbnail. Although, I didn't post last week, I've only uploaded again this Friday and Saturday (my content is always uploaded on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday). But it didn't hurt too much last time I did that a couple months ago.
