I am a returning player to the game, and currently i fly Tactical Command Battlecruiser [T6-X] and i love it, but i was interested in a new ship to play with, so i was really liking the look visually of the Lexington dreadnought

And i was looking at the skins and saw the Odyssey skin

I already have a T5 odyssey that i just never upgraded so i was wondering, are these the same ship? or is the Lexington actually different to the old T5 Odyssey

Or if you just went and upgraded the Odyssey to T6-X would it basically be a lexington

I am after some settings for music specifically , i recently got my 3P headset and its amazing, i love how i can split chat, gaming and mic audio and the 7.1 spartial sound is amazing

But turning on spatial it immediately sounds like im in a hall, and im trying to get a more grounded sound for music, more "normal" sound but with nice bass but clear vocals at the time and not to much "oomph"

I dont mind when drums hit getting abit of an oomph, bu idk how to explain it, im used to the logitech series and their "normal" surround sound setting instead of front.

So i am now on MAC full time, i played a few years back with an M1 chip and loved it but didnt end up sticking with it, now im on an M4 Max Studio i love this thing.

Anyway, back then i used to run XIV on Mac to play ffxiv, and i remember the windows version when you select which license you have always ran better and the mac version was not great

Is that still the case these days? or is it worth investing in the mac edition.

So i noticed that when you play games for example like NTE or Wuthering waves, they download alot of extra data in which the data is stored in a container in the core of the Mac hard drive, this can be problematic with a 512GB drive ( i couldnt afford the 1TB )

Is it possible to make those containers go to another drive and still run? i have 2 external drives both 1TB M.2 SSD's

So i just got my new Mac M4 Max Studio, and i put my old M1 Max away, and i cant figure out how i did it but i had CMD+W on my old mac directly open the application menu in spotlight and it was amazing for quick access

now i have to press cmd + space and then cmd + 1 to get to applications for fast app searching

Any idea how to fix this?

I am having trouble getting Messages to sync between my Mac Studio and iphone 17 pro along with notifications to appear on the top right of the screen in the notification menu on my Mac Studio

I have gone through guides and tried the following

• Made sure my iphone was plugged into my mac and trusted, turned on always connect over wifi
• Made sure iCloud is turned on and signed in on both my phone and mac and synced multiple times
• When i updated to the newest OS, i had an option to turn on iphone mirroring and turned on notifications through mirroring
• Nothing seems to work

When i go to Settings > Airdrop and Continuity > Notifications and live activities i get the following error and it says choose application or search app store, neither options helps

There is no application set to open the URL settings-navigation://com.apple.Settings.Notifications?RemoteNotifications.

So i have a folder of videos which are in italian by default, but have a secondary english track attached called "Original Audio"

I want the folder to always play the audio track when i start a video or it switches to the next video/episode

I tried going to VLC , and settings, and changing preferred audio langauge to english and that does not work.

So i want to move from my old mac to my new mac im getting in a week, i was wondering whats the best method to transfer files/apps

The thing is, i dont want to transfer the entire operating system, with my old mac things were all over the place with alot of commands done when i was playing with learning about console commands, adding developer tools, wine tools, and just alot of stuff

I would like to not keep all of that and start again but keep my files/apps mostly.

I have a mac studio and im after a decent thunderbolt casing that can hold 1-2 SSD drives, i have 2x 980 Pro SSD's and they have heatsinks on them, i did buy one casing but the heatsink wouldnt allow the case to close.
